All of us know that Italian cuisine is fantastic and whenever you visit Italy, one hopes to find this hidden gem that exceeds your expectations. Mostly, you do not find it in the expensive fancy restaurants or close to standard touristic highlights. It took us two weeks to find, but Nonna Vittoria is such an example! The anti-pasta was already fantastic: ‘Come a casa di Nonna’. The Primi was again even better: ‘Casarecce all amatriciana con Pecorino’. Especially the spicy homemade oil that could be added to the pasta, nailed it! Then we ordered ‘la Fiorentina’ steak. Best steak ever! We finished with the REAL homemade Tiramisu, homemade Cantucinni and homemade Limoncello. WOW. The mascarpone cream tasted like heaven! I challenge all food-critics around the world to contradict my review! Please, make the detour if you look for the REAL Italian cuisine. Even stronger: if you look for the real Italy! One aspect I still missed: the people in the restaurant were adorable: service minded, friendly and sincere in their recommendations. Please, make the detour!

I attended this restaurant from a recommendation from the hotel I am staying at on the same road. I was told that great food and large portions were to be theme. I can say nice decor, friendly staff, and the food was excellent. And if you have seen the pictures of food, we'll that is what came out. We had the meatballs as the starter to share. Way too big, main course size, super tasty and highly recommended. This was followed by the mixed grill, which was cooked to perfection and supplemented with 4 different salts, which I did not need or add to the meat. Other dishes included, fresh home made pastas and filled veg as a side order. Would I go back - yes Would I recommend - absolutely.

What an amazingly homely, crisp and super fabulous experience. The food was delicious, well presented and most importantly lip smacking. To top it all the service was outstanding. The servers Luca and Roberto were prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. Since I entered the restaurant I felt at Home. They start with Nduja (Calabrese food) & a marinated aubergine bite as an antipasti. Don’t go by my pricing as it is definitely well priced but just that we had a good flow of drinks. I suggest to stick to Wines rather than spirits as wine are very well priced.

Stayed at a nearby hotel for work and one of the attendants recommended this place. I went 1 night and the service was amazing and food delish. I was torn on trying the pasta or the meat. I got pasta! But when I left, the manager invited me back the next day. I actually went back and got the meat sampler. Amazing and such a great price. Both evenings, Fabio helped me and made great recommendations! Really appreciated him and the attentiveness of the rest of the team. Will definitely be back next time I’m here.

Bravi!

By far the best expierence I had in Italy. SuperB service, food, add-ons, you name it. Everything was fine-tuned to our taste and recommendations were made where necessary. I couldn't put the country Italy anywhere else but here. The food is fresh, tasteful and seasoned to perfection. The location may deceive you, but if you ever visit Milano, be sure to visit this place by taxi or any other means of transportation.
