The place itself is alright but the experince we received was a bit mediocore.

The service: They had two waiters running back and forth. The one who served us was nice but in too much rush, which resulted in her being a bit confused. The other waiter appeared to be somewhat careless. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for them to take our order. This would be okay if not for people - who arrived 10 min later than us - already starting to get their food. The waiter apologized and took our order, which is fine.

A pro tip would be to Wait with cleaning out tables to after taking orders.

The food: The price was alright. Not expensive considering what we got: a pizza (faruk), spaghetti with clams and grilled seafood mix. The pizza was okay but not quite the Italian experience, which we received in other places. The spaghetti was good and the seafood tasted a bit too burnt... Not great not terrible.

Post-service: When we went to pay, the waiter had forgotten what we had ordered... So we had to tell them ourselves, which awkwardly felt like they didn't trust us, so she went back and forth to see the leftovers from our table (there were none).

Conclusion: OUR experience was a bit below average. This could be due to a bad day, which can happen. Your experience may be...

Fantastic restaurant for fabulous food, value and friendliness. We were staying in a Airbnb just up the road and on the day of our arrival we turned up at the restaurant 10 minutes before they were due to close for afternoon break but they couldn't have been more hospitable and cooked us beautiful food. So much so that although we were out and about from Milano Centrale train station everyone of our 6 days, we returned to Restaurant San Mina a further 4 times! Staff are lovely, menu is enough to keep choosing different dishes but not too big so that the food quality goes down! Everything is so flavoursome and arrives very quickly, even when the place is packed and they are under pressure. It does get very busy late on! although is bustling all evening. Prices are the most reasonable around but what we'd hoped and expected from the area. Calzone is fabulous, steaks are fabulous, risotto yummy, salads fabulous, pasta and gnocchi also gorgeous. Also, as previously reviewed, the homemade Crème Brule is scrummy too! Exceptional restaurant, you will not be...

This restaurant has a surprisingly large menu. It was hard to choose among all the tempting choices! Our waitress was very attentive but also allowed us the time we needed to decide. We started with the seafood trio antipasto-- octopus with potatoes, marinated salmon & alici, and mussels; all bathed in olive oil and lemon. Absolutely delicious! We also sampled the tagliatelle with ragu, (similar to a Bolognese), the tagliate di manzo rucola e grana, and a pizza with sausage and ricotta. They were all superb and the red house wine was a perfect accompaniment. The entire staff were kind and attentive and genuinely invested in satisfying customers. The vibe was of a homey neighborhood pub where the goal was good food and comfort. It was a lovely evening at a very reasonable price. Highly...

I had the most delightful dining experience at this charming Italian restaurant in Milan. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality by Yassa. They have indoor air conditioned seating, also a nice outdoor one. The menu featured a variety of Italian dishes, each expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the perfectly seafood risotto to the mouthwatering pastas, every bite was a delicious taste of Italy. All options are offered at very good prices compared to what i have tried in Milan. The service was impeccable, with Yassa, who went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Overall, this Italian restaurant in Milan exceeded all my expectations and left me eager to return. I highly recommend this restaurant.
