Torre has been the biggest disappointment of my culinary trip to Milano. I expected a lot from Fondazione Prada and got disappointed. After that, I would have probably cancelled my reservation at Torre if I wasn’t required to pay 60euros for not showing up. Anyways, Torre wasn’t up to my expectations either. While I’m not a professional chef, I have trained to be one. So looking at all the dishes, I can tell they are all cooked perfectly, and they were all selected nicely and prepared. But that’s it. There is not a single dish I would wanna go back and try. Not even one and I had the degustation menu. The only dishes that are somewhat better are the pre-dessert and the dessert. And that’s not enough for me to revisit this place or let alone recommend it to anyone. First of all, they don’t give you a menu if you pick degustation menu as they go for the freshest, best ingredients offered to them. That’s a no. You need to have a contract with me, I need to know what I am getting. This is not a restaurant that’s on the top 10 in the world for the last three years. Second of all, print a menu. It’s your restaurant, you want to cook with the best available ingredients, that’s the essence of the Italian cuisine, unlike French cuisine. Get yourself a printer and print a daily menu. Service was more than fine, cocktails were just ok. For the food, I can only only say they had the best ingredients and the cooking techniques - but the worst dishes I had in Milan especially at that price range. Not recommended. Edit: the amuse-bouche were also good, too bad the rest of the dishes didn’t deliver what they represented.

Had Sunday lunch here after booking a reservation online during my visit to the Fondazione. Level of service was absolutely perfect, evidently trained and polite staff who attended to every need. They accommodated my open request for a side dish and executed very creatively - all the food was visually stunning and tasted fresh and delicious. Cocktail and wine was excellent, first glass had small cork pieces and this was quickly replaced with a new glass of wine when I pointed it out. Cannot recommend this place enough, will certainly come again!

A place where Milan's snobbery and superficiality reign. We had been told by the doorman there was no registration list to access the rooftop bar. We had also checked online and in principle there was free entry. After waiting more than one hour in the queue, another guy at the door tells us we cannot enter since we haven't been invited. We objected saying there was no registration list, and no explanation was given. It was clearly a selection based on appearance and dress code. In the meantime people wearing black pajamas and silk red slippers were allowed in. Awful experience, won't recommend it to anyone. Just go some other place where some weird concept of "fashion" isn't applied to select people at...

Disappointed with the place! Unfortunately I chose the worst restaurant for my birthday. The place was cold, I asked to raise the temperature and they didn't even come to check later if the temperature had improved. Main course was bitter, strange. And then the dessert was a poorly made cupcake smelling of pure alcohol, inedible!! The topping was market-ready whipped cream, when I saw it I couldn't believe it. I didn't even eat. Finally, they didn't even bother to ask if we liked the food. I expected much more from the restaurant. I regret not having gone to a traditional Italian restaurant, I know that at least they would have congratulated me and I would have had a...
