A truly wonderful meal and the waitress who served us last night was great. She didn’t push us to eat food for the sake of it, or drink wine. She helped us make good choices. I would avoid the fried vegetables next time.
We ordered: USA steak 800g /2 people (£75) about 8euro/100g. Sides: chips and fried vegetables (there was a little lost in translation but that was ok). Dessert: Tiramisu and Fondant.
The chips are like crisps (but are very tasty). We ate the American steak and it was again. 800g was enough for 2 people. We skipped starters, but got the tiramisu (which was amazing) and the fondant (also very good).
Drinks: The small beer was enough to share with a bottle of fizzy...

[IT] Pochi minuti dopo esserci seduti arriva il proprietario per gestire il nostro ordine, che consisteva di 3 antipasti e 2 bistecche, e da lì parte la mancanza di professionalità e rispetto per il cliente. Abbiamo chiesto di cuocere la carne medio-sangue, che fece offendere il proprietario che rispose “È la prima volta che venite voi? Allora fate fare a me”. Risultato? La carne è arrivata talmente cruda che era letteralmente fredda al centro. Sconsiglio vivamente questo posto, sprecano davvero della materia prima di alta qualità e non hanno rispetto per la loro clientela.
[EN] Minutes after we sat at our table, the owner of the restaurant came in to handle our order, which consisted of 3 starters and 2 steaks, and that’s when the disrespect and unprofessionality begun. We asked him to cook our steaks medium-rare, which obviously is a valid request, but he get deeply offended by it and started questioning us, asking “Is it the first time you’re coming to our restaurant? if so, let us handle it”. I am a heavy meat eater and the suggested steak lacked flavor, was poorly cut and was unenjoyable.
The atmosphere between the staff is tense, being short tempered with each other over who should get the wine or the bill etc. Creating an unpleasant atmosphere.
Spend your money and time elsewhere; with so much choice of quality food in Sicily I am depressed I wasted...
