Trinacria Food & Drink — Restaurant in Monreale

A great place to stop and appriciate amazing and authentic food and desserts in front of the Monreale Cathedral! The owner and staffy are very kind and friendly, we came for lunch and had the best arancine, one with salmon and venere rice and the other with prosciutto e mozzarella. Later on we came back to appriciate and try pistacchio e almond granita, cannolo and brioche col tuppo. It's right across the street from the cathedral, so the location was okay. The service was not great because three of us were served while the 4th person had to wait awhile before he got his food. The food was ok until one of us had a big bug (termite) come out of the pasta, in the middle of the pasta!! We had to argue about getting it taken off the bill. Other restaurants would have automaticly taken it off and apologized. The owner said this was normal. Really? I definitely would not...

We had a lunch , we had pasta alla norma e antipasto caldo. After few day in Palermo I can say we were lucky,the panelle were one of the best we had, there were not as oily like some others.
