Ottava Osteria Terra e Mare — Restaurant in Monselice

What a find! We were in Monselice only two nights, Ottava was so good that we went both nights! Everything was excellent from the food to the service to the wine knowledge to the absolute passion this team has about their restaurant. The first night we sat inside and the space they created is inviting and beautiful. The second night we sat on the patio and was equally wonderful. The food is beyond reproach. I am somewhat of a tartare snob and their fish trio is one of the best I've ever had. Every plate is a work art and the taste is exceptional. Sono stato questa mattina per un aperitivo (servizio proposto dal locale) in compagnia di un mio caro amico professionista. Appena chiesto di usufuire del servizio restando all’ esterno ,con mio grande stupore,mi viene consigliato di rivolgermi al bar a fianco dove mi avrebbero offerto patatine e bagigi(manco fossi una scimmia). Un collega del maleducato esercente “ ha messo la pezza”…. Alla fine .. 80 euro per un aperitivo.. assolutamente ottimo(la settimana prima avevamo pranzato nel locale… 200 euro e nulla da dire). Mi sono sentito molto offeso.. preciso che il collega( molto educato) .. si e’ scusato da parte del ragazzzetto che mi ha trattato come un cliente che ptretende cibo a volontà prendendo uno spritz …. Era un incontro di lavoro con un professionista … pensavo di far bella figura portandolo in un locale di una certa levatura. Trattare così un cliente.. non vi fa una bella pubblicità…. Forse dovevo parcheggiare l l auto fronte locale….io consiglio un cambio gestione cliente prima di ritrovarvi a servire hamburger in qualche fast food. Molto deluso...
