Galleria Leone - Bistrò D'Arte — Restaurant in Naples

Horrible service, took hours to get the check and food and the waiter wasn’t that nice. Ordered shrimps coated with peanuts which tasted like nothing but peanuts, raw unseasoned marinara sauce was served with it. Got fish in the shape of scallops which tasted like nothing, unseasoned. Got balsami but no dish to put it in. Ordered buns which came hard and tasted ridiculous, also ordered eggplants which were burnt and tasted horrible. Got mediocre meat balls, I can make better. The fries were too salty and the charcuterie board was fine because it was filled with store bought overpriced meat and cheese, and not a lot of it. We were the only ones at the restaurant and we sat in a table where the floor led lights blinded us, they were directly below each of our seats. It totaled 140 euros with a bottle of wine, I am highly displeased. Not recommended. Kitchen nightmare fuel and a highly incoherent staff...

Un' attraente vetrina-acquario ti accoglie all'ingresso della Galleria Leone: pesci, molluschi, conchiglie e crostacei in bellavista nell'acqua; la quantità dipende dal pescato di giornata. Noi abbiamo notato una spigola, una pezzogna, un pesce da zuppa, qualche scampo, un astice e poi grandi granchi, abbondanti ostriche e frutti di mare. La Galleria Leone prende il nome dalla graziosa Fontana del Leone che si trova davanti al grande ristorante-bar dove siamo andati a cenare. Un lungo corridoio abbellito da piccole bacheche porta all'ampio salone; una modernissima scala di metallo e plexiglas conduce alla sala superiore. È davvero elegante e ben messa la Galleria Leone, luci soffuse e musichetta leggera hanno accompagnato la cena. Cucina di mare nel rispetto della tradizione, piatti preparati e presentati in maniera eccellente, compresa qualche offerta di carne. Erano buonissimi i fusilli saltati in padella con cozze e fiori di zucca, ottimi anche gli spaghetti al sugo di scampi, abbelliti da un grande crostaceo. Grigliata di pesce con gamberoni, calamaro, e completata da un saporitissimo trancio di baccalà. Infine un involtino di maialino nero casertano farcito con prosciutto e formaggio: davvero gustoso anche questo assaggio di carne. Falanghina tenuta fresca in secchiello, direttore di sala bravissimo nell'accoglienza e nei consigli. La Galleria Leone è anche cocktail-bar: è possibile intrattenersi anche senza mangiare gustando drink accompagnati dalle stuzzicherie della casa. Molto piacevole lo spazio all'aperto con piccole luci colorate e comodi tavolini. Garage poco distante, accesso e servizi igienici per disabili. Prezzi adeguati ...

We just wanted to have a meal after long at work. We order only Main dish and waiter was displeased. Although tasty... And serving lays crisps on a dish in a restaurant like that is preposterous.... After we finished it took us 10 minutes to take waiters attention to bring us the bill. And we waited another 15 for the bill to arrive.
