My wife and I found this charming little trattoria just down the road from our hotel, and it instantly became our favorite spot in the city.
The hosts were incredibly kind and genuinely sweet. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. We were offered our choice of indoor or outdoor seating, and the table was promptly set up for us.
The menu was available in both Italian and English via QR code. One of the hosts even brought over a physical menu just in case, showing how thoughtful and attentive they are.
Our food came out in under 10 minutes two steaming hot dishes, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Every bite was rich, fresh, and bursting with flavor. We were so impressed we told the staff right then and there that we’d be coming back every day during our stay.
The service throughout the meal was wonderful kind, unhurried, and genuinely caring. And the price? Shockingly fair.
Easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Italy. Amazing food, warm hospitality, and great value. We’ll be returning every day until we leave and again when we come back.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here. Highly...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of having lunch here on Monday, and I am still reliving the experience in my head two days later. We unfortunately had to catch a taxi before getting to try the desserts or the orange limoncello, but without a doubt, we will plan an entire afternoon to taste everything from start to finish the next time we are in Naples. The waitress was absolutely charming, attentive, kind and let us practice our mediocre Italian with grace, and the chef himself came by several times to check on us. Places like this are what makes memories of a lifetime. Grazie mille to Trattoria Chiaia...

The people make, or break a place. Here, they make it. Very friendly, very accommodating.
The food was gorgeous, the wine went well with our pasta.
When we saw the menu, there were different spaghetti dishes with different sea food types, but not an "all in" sea food pasta.
We asked the main waiter if it was possible to have all the different types of sea food they had in stock with a spaghetti dish. Straight away he said yes, and what came out if the kitchen was absolutely amazing!
I could carry on writing another 1000 words, but i think a "thank you" is more appropriate than anything else.
So, although we never asked for the names of the people that served and talked to us, they deserve all the praise in the...
