Da Teresa — Restaurant in Nettuno

I'm Italian. Let me explain to you the magic that is Da Teresa.

Let's start from the service, as I've read some interesting reviews about it and I'm a professional in the hospitality and tourism sector so I know what tourists expect: in the Lazio region, Rome and small towns like Nettuno, the smiling, friendly service you'd expect are not equal to what you'd expect. If the staff is not smiling, and waiting on you on hand and foot, it's because they're either working hard (like Da Teresa) or because your perception is different and to you it doesn't seem like they're friendly, but they are. It's just a cultural thing and our friendliness is sometimes communicated in a different manner.

I'm Italian, I've lived in Nettuno for years, and I come to Da Teresa whenever I have the chance. They don't greet me with balloons. I come here to eat well, and I do, and that's all that matters!

Non ci siamo proprio ed è un peccato! Il locale è stato rinnovato i prezzi notevolmente aumentati, la proposta e il servizio non sono andati di pari passo, rimangono scarsi a livello trattoria di bassa qualità. Partiamo dal cibo. Antipasto di 5 portate, pesce economico e poca fantasia. Due erano di polpo (nonostante avessi detto al cameriere che non lo mangio) un'altra con il pangasio che non è certamente un prodotto locale e nemmeno di qualità. Ultime due portate salvabili ma in porzione non adeguata, erano del pesce gratinato con verdure e del pesce fritto. Primo, spaghetti con vongole. Pasta nel complesso cucinata bene ma le vongole erano troppo grandi e senza sapore (probabilmente prodotto non fresco). Frittura bocciatissima! Gommoso il calamaro e pastella non croccante.

Andiamo ai prezzi: Antipasto pagato 15€ prezzo da menù dall'antipasto della casa che comprende sia caldi che freddi, ma noi avevamo chiesto solo i caldi e onestà vorrebbe che il prezzo andrebbe adeguato. La frittura di calamari e gamberi che giustamente ha un costo maggiore a quella di soli calamari, differisce per la presenza di solo 2 gamberi! Abbiamo speso 42 € a testa (vino 25€ una bottiglia)

E infine il servizio: Non esiste la carta dei vini, il cameriere è la carta dei vini! Peccato che fa un elenco di tipi di vino senza minimamente nominare le cantine che fanno veramente la differenza. Il prezzo ovviamente lo scoprirete solo quando arriva lo scontrino, ed indovinate? Sì non è adeguato! In più è servito senza che venga assaggiato e in un bel cestello sporco e senza tovagliolo. Il cameriere è anche il menù (anche se il cartaceo esiste) che ovviamente ordina a modo suo. Bicchieri e posate messi a tavola così come escono dalla lavastoviglie, e probabilmente non usano nemmeno il brillantante. Eravamo in 4 e ci hanno messo in un tavolo apparecchiato per due, gli altri due coperti li abbiamo dovuti chiedere noi e li hanno portati a rate, prima un bicchiere poi dopo ulteriore richiesta i tovaglioli.

Rapporto qualità prezzo completamente sbilanciato. Va...

I cannot say a word about a food - it was tasty and good excluding mules which were in most served not opened. Waiter's service has been far away from accepted standards...Just after we took our seets and say "bouna sera", he looked on my fiancée and his face was saying "you are not welcome here". Maybe because we didn't ask whether we can choose this one specific table, which was not ready and waiter has to bring to us the cutlery? After we finished eating, we waited 15 minutes for taking plates, and only because we asked for that. Next 15 minutes we waited for the bill. In the meantime waiter served other tables just...
