La Pergola | Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Olbia

We were really disappointed with our last visit here. Previously La Pergola was our favourite restaurant in Murta Maria and we had some very nice meals here. However, they seem to have changed a lot since our last visit, we noticed sushi on the menu which we thought strange (we didn't try this as we can get sushi at home and we wanted some authentic Italian food). I had mussels in white wine and my wife had mussels in a tomato sauce, both came out swimming in oil, they were very greasy and not very appetising, they also seemed to be slightly undercooked! Then our main courses came out I had clams with spaghetti and cherry tomatoes, it was again oily, and also tasteless with a strange brown dusting over the clams that reminded me of cheap powdered parmesan, it also contained no cherry tomatoes just chopped up regular tomatoes. My wife ordered zucchini and smoked mullet pasta, the zucchini had been blended, possibly with the mullet but it was not possible to taste the mullet at all. The result was an exceptionally bland dish that looked like pasta, which had been thrown in some baby food (actual baby food would probably have been preferable to the green gloop served up). Needless to say we didn't eat either main course and just asked for the bill. We then received no apology or money off the bill €50 down the drain! I would strongly advise people to avoid this restaurant as it feels like they are trying to be something they are not and are getting the basics (good Italian cooking)...

My first time at La Pergola a few years back was absolutely awesome.. when my holiday was over, I often daydreamed about the time spent there. But you know.. that's when the trouble starts. Got back there September of last year(2017). My first visit, the service was a little slow but still a good experience. My Second visit however, was very disappointing. It took about 20 minutes to get the menu, and another 30 for the waiter to finally get around to taking my order. The bread slices were stale on arrival.. and when the main dish arrived,it was just tasteless. It was crushing, cause I liked this place so much. When I was waiting for the menu I got an impulse to leave,just as I what's about to get up, in comes the menu! lol Always follow your instincts-I should have kept going. Some you win.. some you lose. I genuinely hope that you have a better visit than my last. My first memory of eating here will for sure linger, but I will not go back...

I recently visited this restaurant and was absolutely impressed. From the moment you walk in, you are warmly welcomed – the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. You immediately feel at home.

The food was a real highlight: fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented with great attention to detail. Every dish tasted like the kitchen had put real care into bringing out the best of each ingredient. You can tell that quality comes first here.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting – perfect for a relaxed evening for two as well as for a get-together with friends or family.

All in all, this is a restaurant that definitely deserves more recognition! If you value delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere, this is a place you...
