During my recent visit to Il Baretto in Porto Rotondo, I had a delightful culinary experience. The location is incredibly welcoming, with a beautiful terrace that offers a breathtaking view of the sea.

The meal began with an appetizer of hand-cut tuna tartare, served with various accompaniments on the side. This dish was exquisitely prepared and is highly recommended for tuna enthusiasts.

The fregola with shellfish was also delectable. The shellfish reduction and the fresh gambero created a fantastic combination that truly pleased my palate.

The wine list is small but intriguing, featuring many local wines. The Vermentino Katala from the house of Tondoni was delightful.

What an amazing place. Make sure to book a table outside where you have the stunning view of the harbour and all the beautiful yachts and boats sailing in and out. The service at the restaurant is super attentive and very friendly - you feel very well looked after. We went with the recommendation and had octopus as a starter and then catch of the day (amberjack), pasta with moules, rigatoni carbonara and seafood pasta. Hidden GEM! We stumbled upon this place while looking for a restaurant with a good menu and a view - this place was it. Service and food were absolutely amazing. Local wine, oil, bread were SO tasty.
