I highly recommend this Indian-Italian fusion restaurant. The Indian food was amazing. I tried the parda biryaani and it was the best I had in town, very authentic and delicious. I used to consider this one of the best restaurants around, but as of my visit on 15th August 2024, the experience was deeply disappointing. The overall taste has deteriorated significantly, with most dishes falling far below expectations. The only exceptions were a few starters like the chicken pakora and kebab, which were decent. Nascosto in un angolo caratteristico di Padova, alle spalle della stazione ferroviaria, si trova “Rasa Restro”, un ristorante indiano che offre un’accogliente oasi di sapori in un quartiere effervescente di culture diverse. L’arredamento curato e l’atmosfera calda invitano a scoprire la varietà dei piatti, presentati con eleganza e attenzione al dettaglio.

Tuttavia, mi preme sottolineare un aspetto che ha sorpreso me e altri commensali: l’intensità della piccantezza nelle portate principali. Pur essendo ammiratori del cibo speziato, abbiamo trovato che il livello di piccantezza superava la nostra soglia di piacere, sfociando in una sfida al gusto piuttosto che in un’esperienza gastronomica equilibrata.

Ritengo che sarebbe di grande beneficio per i futuri ospiti se il menù indicasse con chiarezza il grado di piccantezza di ciascun piatto. Questo permetterebbe a tutti di scegliere con maggiore consapevolezza e di godere appieno delle delizie culinarie proposte da “Rasa Restro”.
