Red Velvet Padova — Restaurant in Padua

I used to like this place a lot before they closed for some time. Today I went there excited about the reopening and had the worst experience I’ve ever had in a cafe! The waitress was rude and dismissive, acting like she doesn’t have time to take my order. She literally threw the drinks and cake we ordered on our table, and walked away! The cake was dry and old, hardly eatable so I took it back to her and stated that, leaving the cake on the bar. She said: do you want another one? I said yes and chose one that was supposedly newer, which wasn’t that much better anyways but I didn’t want to complain again. Even though she took the cake with her bare hands (unwashed) and put it on the plate! When she was trying to close for the lunch break she moves around with a strong chemical cleaner and the smell of it is all over the place! And then she comes to our table saying: “we Are closed, girls!” We go to pay and I said I’m not paying for the first cake because it wasn’t to the standard! And she keeps pushing that I must pay for 2 cakes! Eventually she said either pay for all of it or walk away, and I did walk away because I’m not going to pay to receive expired food and be disrespected at...

Horrible!! Super rude people, the girl served us put the cake on the plate with her bare hands and just before doing so she was touching money🤮

We were having some drinks and the started spraying cleaning things right above our heads and our drinks in order to clean something.. 🤢 its like they were trying to poison us

The cake was old and hard like stone.. staff are horrible!

I even tried to contact them from instagram to complain and they did not even respond!!

Very dirty staff and environment , food is horrible, behavior is horrible , even the fork she brought us wasn't clean and i had to ask for...

Durante la mia recente visita a Padova, ho avuto il piacere di scoprire Red Velvet, una deliziosa bakery situata in via Giambattista Belzoni 137/139. Questo locale, ispirato alle tipiche bakery anglosassoni, offre una vasta gamma di dolci artigianali che conquistano sia la vista che il palato.

Ho avuto modo di assaggiare un cupcake alla nocciola e un brownie al cioccolato: entrambi si sono rivelati freschi, morbidi e dal sapore equilibrato, evidenziando l'alta qualità degli ingredienti utilizzati.

Il personale è giovane, cordiale e sempre sorridente, pronto a consigliare le specialità del giorno e a soddisfare le richieste dei clienti. Questo contribuisce a creare un'esperienza piacevole e rilassante, facendoti sentire come a casa.

Unico piccolo neo potrebbe essere rappresentato dai prezzi leggermente elevati, ma la qualità dei prodotti e l'attenzione al dettaglio giustificano pienamente la spesa. Inoltre, la posizione centrale del locale lo rende facilmente accessibile sia per i residenti che per i turisti in visita alla città.

In conclusione, Red Velvet è una tappa obbligata per gli amanti dei dolci che si trovano a Padova. La combinazione di un ambiente accogliente, personale gentile e una vasta selezione di prelibatezze rende questo locale un vero gioiello nel panorama gastronomico cittadino.
