Our dinner at Zafferano was nothing short of extraordinary – easily deserving two Michelin stars. The restaurant specializes in fish and seafood, and everything we tasted was prepared with absolute precision and artistry.

We started with a stunning appetizer: tiny shrimp from the lagoon, fried whole and served over creamy polenta with a delicate cod mousse made with milk and cream. Then came a beautifully plated octopus dish with razor clams and a fresh young artichoke salad – a perfect balance of texture and flavor.

The grand finale: spaghetti cacio e pepe with scampi – a dish so rich and refined, it left a lasting impression.

This is not a tourist trap, but a place where you experience Italian cuisine at its finest, made for those who truly appreciate top-level cooking. Service was impeccable, the wine pairing spot on, and every detail of the evening felt carefully curated.

The worst place ever!! I guess we didn't meet there standerds. Just checked in the hotel up the street and asked for a recommendation and this was the place we were told to go to. When we walked into the place we were immediately escorted out and told we need a reservation. Which was a out right lie. Half the tables were empty at 8pm. I guess the American $$ is no good there.😡😡😡 They made my husband and I fell like second class citizens. LOL you have no clue!! PS. I called restaurant nothing...

Terrible experience at this restaurant. The waiter serving our table was very rude. He would take away your menu before you finish your order; he would interrupt you before you finish and placed the order that is not correct; his tone was very rough and hostile with bad body gestures. He hides himself behind by saying he does not know English, but he uses every word in English when taking to us. We hope the restaurant management can take actions to stop this type of behavior...
