The service is horrible at this place, this is not my first time nor my first observation but i come back because the food used to be tasty. Today the pizza was not tasty at all, fettuccine was ok. When we entered the restaurant no one gave us the menu the waiter gave the table near us who came after us the menu and when i told him pls i am waiting for menu he was so rude and said ok you have to wait! Also The same waiter didn’t put bread on our table and put on all the other tables. I asked 2 times for coca cola and when they served it, it was not cold i had to ask for ice and it took forever and when i asked for wifi password as if i asked for a prohibited item the owner of the restaurant was also extremely rude and replied in italian because i do understand their language i am not familiar with technology can you believe it!! I have never met a restaurant owner who is disrespectful to the guests rude and grumpy, This is not my first time there but honestly i will not go back because of their attitude this is a hospitality industry you need to be patient you need to be smiling you need to welcome your guests not be rude as if we are eating there for free, i am not sure why all this arrogance not even a good attitude nor the owner or the waiter who i would fire if he has such an attitude in my restaurant I also want to add that the toilet was filthy and dirty the smell was so bad and there were no tissues, not...

We were the first guests arriving on a Friday evening, the decor and the surroundings in the restaurant are quite much and feel a bit old-faishoned.

We ordered antipasti and a primi piatti. The antipasti was a burrata with a fried and stuffed zuchini flower with a burrata and a parmiggiana. Unfortunately the Burrata was a bit sour, which I only noticed after eating it. This is normally not a good sign for the quality of the produce. The parmiggiana was okay.

The primi piatti were a carbonara and the home-made gnocchi with pumpkin sauce and truffles. Unfortunately the Carbonara was not good, I am pretty convinced there was cream in it and the meat was also rather conventional bacon then guanciale. The gnocchi were okay, too soft for my liking the sauce was tasteless and the truffles didn't have a good flavour either.

The house wine was really not good, it had a sour taste and was bubbling a bit, we drank it however as we do not like to return drinks that we ordered.

The service was okay, however the staff acted a bit weird. We were not asked wether we liked our food, wine and water were not served but just put on the table.

I am pretty sure there are many better options in the old town of Padua for Pasta and authentic food and vine. Unfortunately I would not recommend...

If it was possible to give 0 ratings for this restaurant I would. From the get go staff were not welcoming and acted as if they didn’t want us to be there through their body language and interactions. Whilst people were still eating at our table they were clearing plates of those that had finish, making it seem as though they were rushing us to leave despite being extremely empty. It doesn’t come as a surprised that they are empty given their poor customer service. Towards the end we asked for the bill and asked for them to bring over the card machine, they told us to get up and pay. However, we saw them bring over a card machine to other customers (white people) to pay, but told us to get up and pay. We had to request multiple times for the card machine to be brought over to us, like they done for various other customers. What’s the purpose of having a €3 service fee per a person on a table (€15 for a table of 5) to not receive the service we are paying for? What seems like the owner was chatting to customers as if he was in a social club rather checking in with us to see whether we were ok, despite hearing our issues we raised with his staff. At the end when we were leaving the staff didn’t have the courtesy to say goodbye. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone, seems like a racist establishment who favours white customers over other ethnic minority customers. The food was also not very nice, the pizza dough was overcooked and did not taste fresh at all. As someone on vacation in Padova, never have I received such service in any country I had ever visited. The staff and owner should feel such shame that they have left such a dissatisfied and distasteful feelings to its customers, no wonder why they are empty.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zairo Pizzaria, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! Everything about the experience was top-notch, from the friendly and attentive service to the delicious food. First off, the prices were incredibly reasonable for the high quality of the food. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable everything was, especially given the generous portion sizes. But despite the great prices, there was no compromise on taste - every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very inviting and cozy. It had a welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. And of course, the star of the show was the pizza! I can confidently say that Zairo Pizzaria serves some of the best pizza I've ever had. The crust was perfectly crispy and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Zairo Pizzaria and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great pizza spot. The combination of great food, friendly service, and affordable prices make it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I can't wait to go back!
