Wow this place is incredible and I think will remain in my memory as one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I lived in Italy for four years before this and have eaten in many amazing places but just writing this review thinking about the food I had is making my mouth water again. Ottima esperienza avuta il giorno di Natale insieme ai miei genitori. Il ristorante ci è stato consigliato dalla proprietaria del B&b dove alloggiavamo, abbiamo scelto il menù fisso proposto per l'occasione e ci siamo trovate/i molto bene: la cucina, pur valorizzando le eccellenze del territorio, ha un'impostazione di ricerca che abbiamo apprezzato, con cotture delicate e accostamenti equilibrati che esaltano i sapori senza appesantire e con un ampio utilizzo di verdure (a differenza della dominante carnivora della cucina locale, che in altri locali in cui abbiamo mangiato prevedeva scarso impiego di verdure). Ottimi i flan di apertura (ricotta e finocchietto, cavolfiore uvetta e pinoli, cavolo rosso e patate), il russello risottato, le polpette con un cuore di piacentino locale. Ho adorato la mousse di cioccolato fondente e arancia con crumble che ci è stato servito come dessert. Nonostante ci fossero tavolate numerose di clienti abituali, il servizio è stato efficiente e molto attento anche nei confronti di clienti occasionali come noi. La proprietà e gestione è di una coppia, lui chef, lei responsabile di sala, gioviale, accogliente e simpatica. Porzione giuste per la struttura complessiva del pasto, prezzo coerente con la qualità degli ingredienti e della cucina. Ci torneremo sicuramente se capiteremo di nuovo in zona....
