The man with the blue T-shirt took our order. For drink I asked for “Limoncello spritz”. He said back to me “limoncello aperol spritz”. I repeated “no, limoncello spritz”. What I was subsequently brought a limoncello shot and an aperol spritz. No!

I ordered ‘Il ventaglio di verdure e fromaggio arrosto’ for antipasti, and my partner ordered the red pumpkin risotto and the brocolli risotto for both of us. However it seemed the waiter understood that I wanted the antipasti as my main and my partner just wanted the second risotto he ordered, as we received the brocolli risotto before our antipasti and then did not receive the pumpkin risotto. The antipasti was very basic and tasteless and the aubergine was bitter and drowned in cheese. The brocolli risotto was also tasteless and seemed to have no seasoning.

We addressed that we were waiting for the pumpkin risotto and they seemed unaware. We then waited OVER AN HOUR to receive this, however it tasted much better than the two previous courses.

I can appreciate that as we do not speak Italian, there may have been a slight communication error but we tried our best with pronunciation and even pointed to everything on the menu… “Limoncello spritz” is the same in English and Italian! The staff seemed rude and annoyed at us, and inattentive when we tried to explain what we wanted.

Then, no surprise, the bill came wrong and they tried to charge us for the limoncello shot...

I wanted to love this place as it was recommended by a friend. When we got there the place was empty but we were rushed to order our meals which we did. They never explained that the portions were enormous and so we over ordered which was very upsetting. My husband and I had ordered pasta to share and then second plates each. However, so much time had passed that I assumed they had forgotten about mine and was actually relieved since I was so full. Our entire party was finished when they tried to bring out the plate I had ordered even though we told them we did not want it. Once we became upset with the waiter they sent it back. I will say the outside garden was beautiful and the food very good. But if you go, SHARE the plates. They are too big to finish for one person. As a restaurant, you should make it clear that your customer is ordering too much food. Our waiter not only failed to do that but encouraged us to order appetizers as well. However, the manager did apologize and gave us all little lemon slushies which was so nice. Hope they can improve...

Si è mangiato benissimo, cibo sublime, ineccepibile e il cameriere che ci ha servito (Diego) è stato bravissimo, gentile, premuroso, ha decorato un tavolo imperiale meraviglioso e distribuito i ventagli per il caldo, attento anche il responsabile di sala lo è stato ma purtroppo la gestione della serata non è andata bene. Ho festeggiato la mia laurea con menù fisso. Nel menu’ pattuito era previsto caffè e amaro e non è stato servito né proposto ai clienti, nel menu pattuito era previsto lo spumante e non è stato servito ai clienti fatta eccezione della festeggiata e il marito. Nel menu pattuito erano previste le bibite in bottiglia ma non lo hanno scritto nel menu, a tavola servivano solo acqua e vino, ho dovuto avvisare io personalmente gli ospiti che potevano ordinare da bere quello che volevano. Potevano semplicemente scrivere bibite in bottiglia nel menu e gli ospiti le avrebbero ordinate. A richiesta poi le hanno servite. Non mi hanno permesso di usare gli spara coriandoli perché difficili da togliere e pulire. Per me questa non è una giustificazione. Il proprietario mi ha persino detto “che siamo a capodanno”! Ignora sicuramente che in tutte le lauree che si rispettano si usano gli spara coriandoli. Avevo chiesto di servire tutti i pasti al piatto e il secondo e’ stato servito in vassoi per gruppi in cui c’erano pochissimi calamari. La torta l’hanno portata senza che io l’avessi richiesta, probabilmente perché era tardi, questo mi ha rovinato l’effetto sorpresa in quanto volevo metterci le candele con le scintille sopra accese nel modo di portarla e mostrarla agli ospiti, gliele ho dovute mettere sopra dopo che ormai tutti l’avevano vista. Peccato 😒 Hanno sparecchiato prima che lasciassimo il locale, mentre scartavamo i regali, tanto che ho perso un orecchino lasciato sul tavolo poi ritrovato a terra, probabilmente nel modo di togliere la tovaglia ma io l’avevo lasciato sul tavolo prima che cominciassero a sparecchiare. La giustificazione è che era tardi. Hanno pure buttato via i segnaposti, peccato mi sarebbe piaciuto conservarne uno magari per ricordo. Per me questa non è una giustificazione. Ripeto Diego è stato bravissimo, non so da chi sono dipese tutte queste cose forse chi sopra di lui che dava direttive o dagli altri camerieri, ripeto non lo so, posso solo raccontare quello che abbiamo vissuto. Come se non bastasse dico tutte queste cose al proprietario e anziché scusarsi di eventuali mancanze nel servizio mi urla che secondo lui sono “fusa” cosa che è andata oltre ogni decenza. Il responsabile di sala si è scusato solo per il fatto che quella sera il bagno non funzionava per un problema idrico e a causa di questo un mio ospite con problemi di salute e’ dovuto andare via prima. Peccato veramente, tutto questo mi ha lasciata...
