Very nice and good restaurant/bar in Passignano sul Trasimeno! Price/quality wise more than ok, good portions and good local beers ! We went here twice during our stay in the region in September 2021. Very good service and very friendly staff! The terrace on the street side is a little narrow, but the view is nice (if you are sitting face to the lake of course). Recommended!

Stopped for a quick bite to eat on the way to Perugia on a Monday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, a good selection of simple, delicious food. We both had focaccia sandwiches and they were excellent. The bread was amazing. The view and location are beautiful. Would definitely stop again.

Riccardo, la moglie Sara, la loro famiglia e i dipendenti sono sorridenti e disponibili: andate al Bar del Sole e sarete "a casa"! Grazie di tutto...

After a negative experience at another bar closer to the pier, I walked further down Viale Roma and via Aganoor Pompili and found Bar del Sole that not only is aesthetically pleasing but is run by two very kind people. My request was simple and I was able to enjoy my coffee and sweet snack, looking over at the water and taking in the sun. Do yourself a favour and continue walking past the main tourist area which unfortunately often gets more business than the smaller places but provides an average or poor service. I was happy to find Bar del Sole and there are some lovely looking restaurants in...

Loved eating here, we sat outside and had a nice view over the lake. It is on a busy road though, but I didn’t mind. What keeps me from giving 5 stars is that I ordered the ‘pizza’, but I got something that looked more like a focaccia. It was still very good so I can’t really complain. I don’t know if this is an Italian thing but if I knew it was more like a focaccia I would have ordered...
