Ristorante pasticceria Ferretti — Restaurant in Peccioli

Since we’ve been at Loretta’s several times already and always have been very happy with food, service and ambience we were excited to return on our vacation this year. The food was good as always, with the exception of the freshness which probably correlates with the aspect of service. At our last visit in 2023 we were already disappointed since we felt a little forgotten when seated on the outside. Therefore we made a reservation for an inside table and at first were served quickly. After the starter we waited for over 30 minutes for our first course. Our pasta dishes arrived merely warm and it was not possible to get the attention of any of the staff to reorder beverages even though other groups in the room that were either bigger or obviously known to the restaurant owners were served constantly. After our dishes were cleared from the table we waited over another hour before being noticed again. That sadly put us off ordering a dessert and we ended our visit prematurely. When we asked to pay we had to list everything we ordered since nobody seemed to be bothered to remember our visit in general. To conclude: if you’re lucky you can have a great evening at this restaurant with great food and hopefully good service but there’s a high chance of being cast aside if there are friends of the owner in attendance or anyone else that she grants her attention to. We used Ristorante Ferretti to cater our wedding, and it was absolutely amazing!!!

We have had the best experience we can have with Ferretti. We used them from everything from renting chairs/tables etc. to food, and the service and professionalism has been impeccable. The food was perfectly presented, and tasted amazing. We used them for the entire wedding day - everything from appiritivo to a seated dinner service, and the Millefoglie wedding cake (which was mindblowing). We also had the gelato for our guest - which is probably some of the best I´ve ever had. The friendliness of the staff was unmatched by anything I´ve experienced previously - always warm, smilling, helpful and attentative to our needs. Everything was cleaned up before we could even blink. The experience was catered exactly to our needs and wishes, and we retrospectively are awestruck by how fantastically smooth and perfect everything went.

I am so glad we picked Lorella Ferretti to cater our wedding. I really cant find enough words to describe how incredible this day was, and i would highly recommend Ristorante Ferretti to...

Me and my wife came in today with an idea to have a lunch as this place had some good recommendations. Sadly the waiter told us they are full and it was the end of the lunch. We asked again if we could have just a drink. We were told no. We understand that restaurants in Italy have different lunch and dinner times and that is absolutely ok and we are used to it. Problem was what came after:

Italians came in shortly. We lingered there for a minute. We understand Italian (in this situation - sadly). They asked if there is a free table. Waiter looked around and said - wait for 5 min, the couple is finishing up and you can have a table. What a wonderful welcoming place this is:)

I’m sure it’s us who are in the wrong here (as the restaurant explains their rude attitude towards some foreigners in other comments) or there is some magical explanation for this rudeness. We were polite, tried to say “hello” and “goodbye” in Italian....
