Le Morette - Az.Agr. Valerio Zenato — Restaurant in Peschiera del Garda

Me and my wife's first ever wine tasting and we couldn't have picked a better winery to do it in. Our guide Valentina was exceptionally knowledgeable about the wines, both tasting and production. We started with an immersive tour with some historical facts about the winery, area and wine making process. This was followed by a tasting of 4 Lugana wines paired with cold cuts and cheese.

The wines were each more delicious than the last. The service from Valentina plus all other colleagues was of the highest standard from the second we walked in.

Can't recommend enough. Wine's are very reasonably priced for their quality and the location...

It was somehow less than I expected. The La Morette building was very nice with a lovely open tasting room. The staff were all very pleasant and informative but somehow I expected more. We did have a brief tour of the wine making facilities downstairs along with a cellar but perhaps I was hoping for a tour of the vines themselves? The wine tasting itself was three small glasses of wine with a brief explanation. The cheese board was ok. Listen, I did enjoy it but I don’t think it represented good value for money at €25 per person for 3 glasses of wine, some cheese and a brief tour...

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Our tour guide was friendly and did a great job of talking to us about the winery and all aspects of the wine making process.

The sampling was just that - a sample. But it allowed us to find our favorites, we were able to find out how you find their wine near us and we took a bottle with us.

It was a relaxing tour on a hot day. We did have a bit of trouble getting there (our mistake, not theirs), but they were able to call a taxi for us when we left.
