Outstanding customer service, especially because of our Argentinian server (I forgot to ask the name). We were a group of 4 adults with 2 kids (3 & 12 YO). We booked our table overlooking the sea. Fish, steak, mixed seafood platters - outstanding quality, presentation & VERY attentive service. After we had our meal, we were offered to switch a table from restaurant side to sort of outdoor bar area. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Drinks on apperitivo are so small, not worth it for 15€. The food is also not good, serve quite cold. The staff needs to be more attentive, there are 4-5 of them just standing and the restaurant is not so busy. It took them awhile to notice use calling them. It is next to a public park which could be noisy.

SULLA TERRAZZA DI TIRRENIA... 👉 Ho avuto modo di partecipare all'inaugurazione del Venerdì musicale. 👉 È iniziato con un apericena con bevuta, nel mio caso cocktail ben curato alla frutta, con un tagliere toscano abbastanza abbondante. 👉 La serata è poi proseguita dalle ore 22.00 con Dj set fino alle ore 02.00 circa, quando è stata spenta la musica. 👉 Musica commerciale ed numerose selezioni di gin per consumazioni sia al bar, che ai tavoli.. 👉 Ambiente divertente e dinamico con persone giovani e disponibili, seppur limitato per capienza. 👉 Arredi bianchi in linea con locali similari in zone balneari. 👉 Consiglio se in zona Litorale Pisano, in particolare Tirrenia, di fare una bevuta in questa location fronte mare, prima di iniziare la serata. 👉 La selezione all'ingresso favorisce un ambiente curato e senza eccessiva confusione.

I was invited to La Vela Restaurant in Pisa next to the ocean, and you have to see the view from here…Priceless!. Also I have to say that it’s a great place, the food was pretty good, I had the Fritto: “La Vela” totani and it was really good. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend. Nachdem wir hier einmal ganz gute Cocktails getrunken hatten, wollten wir an unserem letzten Urlaubsabend ein schönes Dinner mit Blick auf das Meer genießen. Leider waren alle drei Portionen fast schon lächerlich klein und konnten auch qualitativ nicht überzeugen. Das Steak war verbrannt (bestellt war „well done“), winzig und voller Fett, die Pasta schmeckte fad und die Grösse der Portion war ebenfalls sehr klein bemessen. Auch der Service war nicht überragend, das bestellte Wasser wurde erst auf Nachfrage gebracht, nachdem das Essen schon da war. Für das Gedeck wurden pro Person 2,50 € extra berechnet, was bei den Preisen für das Essen schon fast unverschämt ist. Insgesamt war es unser teuerster Abend hier in Tirennia und trotzdem mussten wir im Anschluss noch woanders essen gehen, da wir nicht satt geworden sind. Uns ist aufgefallen, dass die Italiener am Nebentisch alle sehr große Portionen bekamen - ob man hier die Menge des Essens wohl von der Nationalität abhängig macht? Wir werden es nicht mehr herausfinden, da wir nicht nochmal wiederkommen werden und empfehlen allen, die diese Rezension lesen, in der Osteria zu essen und den Meerblick von der Promenade aus zu genießen - das ist besser für Euren Geldbeutel...
