Pizzeria La Paradisea — Restaurant in Pisa

Probably the only pizzeria nearby this area, always busy! For dine in better with reservation otherwise there won’t be a table to sit. The would offer bar seat if you are willing to wait, we did on the first time visit.

Pizza is good many options to choose, price so much cheaper than where we used to lived.

Second time we were planning just to take away, the lady so nice told us we have to wait 30 minutes for pizza take away ( i know this long right) so we decided to just take pieces of pizza of what available .

I saw many comments about taking so long but indeed the orders didnt stop , phone, apps ,people came. For me they did good job cause they advised us about the reality

Premetto che sia io che il mio amico lavoriamo nella ristorazione e sappiamo bene quanto i clienti a volte possano indisporre. Mercoledì sera,prenotato per le 21:30; richiamo alle 21:15 per informare che purtroppo arriviamo con 15 minuti di ritardo, 5 minuti al telefono perché non capivano cosa stessi dicendo. Arrivo prima io ,aspetto che il cameriere prepari il tavolo. Ci fa accomodare in un tavolo senza bicchieri, posate o piatto (discrezionale). In sala c'erano solo altri 3 tavoli che stavano già mangiando e che sono andati via nell' arco di 15 minuti. Capiamo ovviamente che l' orario fosse tardo anche per loro, ma ogni domanda fatta al cameriere su menù e vino è stato un continuo di "Vado a chiedere e non lo so", nostro errore all' ennesimo "Non lo so" è stato ridere in faccia al cameriere. Sbagliato ovviamente ma è stata una reazione. Abbiamo ricevuto la bottiglia di vino chiusa prima dei bicchieri dell' acqua ,delle posate o dei calici. Aperta la bottiglia ,sopra il tavolo,il cameriere ha ben pensato di lanciarci il tappo in maniera stizzosa. Capito il suo errore ha tentato di rimediare per la prosecuzione della serata fino al dolce. Chiedo se il tiramisù è fatto senza panna (prendo sempre lo stesso dolce ovunque) , la risposta del cameriere è stata "Non l ho mai vista mettere" al che chiedo se ne è sicuro e nuovamente va in cucina a chiedere. Conclusione il tiramisù era con la panna ,lasciato sul tavolo. In cassa mi hanno ribadito che fosse montato a neve ed era per questo che sentivo sulla lingua la patina che normalmente lascia la panna.( Ci dispiace che non abbia gradito sarebbe stato molto più apprezzato) Momento del pagamento. 1 antipasto della casa(tagliere) 1 pizza 1 tiramisù 1 caffè corretto 1 acqua 1 vino(non era nel menù, al tavolo il cameriere l ha prezzato 14,00€ sullo scontrino 15,00€) 2 coperti Per un totale di 46,30€ Vogliamo dare un consiglio, anche noi siamo stati camerieri inesperti, anche noi a fine serata vorremmo solo mandare tutti via e staccare ma esistono delle parole che all' occhio dei clienti fanno la differenza. "Mi dispiace sono alle prime armi e non conosco bene la cucina , mi scuso in anticipo e vi chiedo di avere un po' di pazienza" Visto che tra cucina e sala si chiacchera sempre avrete ovviamente avuto contezza di quello che accadeva in tempo reale. In cassa mi sarei aspettata anche lì un "Scusate" ma nulla di ciò è accaduto. La pizza è buona ma per come siamo stati trattati e per quello che si è speso non tornerò...

This is one of my favourite "pizza houses" in Pisa and surrounding area. Pizza comes in two sizes, the "standard" one and the small one, and they are preparing it with different mix of wheat flour, including the wholeweat. You can eat it there (the room is not very large, I recommend to book in advance) or take it away, but you can also rely on the efficient home-delivery service. I also reccomend the home-made tiramisù and cakes. The restaurant is now open on evening only, toilet is clean and the closing day is on Tuesday. Enjoy! Update on 27 July l, 2024.
