Vanilla cafè — Restaurant in Pisa

one of the places i miss most in italy if i'm being honest, and im someone who doesn't really like sweets. the aesthetic of the place was very neat and pleasing, and the service was very quick and kind despite how long i spent ogling at the menu. the deserts on display were all insanely tempting that it made it hard to choose. what i settled on was tiramisu, cannoli (cannolo according to staff) and the fruit tart thing pictured. they were the perfect balance of sweet and tasty. the texture of the pastries were on point that it truly made me take a step back and appreciate the pastry craftsmanship (i know i sound dramatic.) we had coffee too and despite the small sizes, it was very strong and tasty. very aromatic, the first thing you smell upon walking into the shop. other things to note, it is in walking distance from the pisa airport and the bathrooms are clean....

Apericena ottimo per varietà dei cibi e per come sono stati cucinati, sarebbe meglio avere a disposizione piatti piani e non quelli da dolce scomodissimi perché il cibo che metti nel piatto si mescola troppo. Il mio spritz un po' annacquato , buono invece il mojito che hanno preso due miei amici. Locale ampio con molta gente ma distribuita bene nello spazio e quindi senza confusione, fatta eccezione del lato bar e cassa troppo sacrificati. Tiratina d'orecchio invece per il personale. Forse pochi per così tante persone? Non so per quale motivo. Solo che sia io che i miei amici li abbiamo trovati assolutamente poco cortesi, frettolosi, indifferenti, quasi seccati. Peccato perché non invogliano a tornare . spero solo di essere capitata in una giornata "no" anche se chi sta al pubblico dovrebbe dare l'impressione che le giornate siano sempre "si". Volevo aggiungere che accortami che mentre ero nel locale ho "smarrito" il.mio portafoglio piccolo, di stoffa, con soli 20 euro macon la patente, sono tornata per sapere se percaso era stato ritrovato. Nessuno ha avuto la gentilezza di fermarsi un attimo (va be' che erano in chiusura e stanchi) e capire meglio cosa dicevo. Un frettoloso non so detto mentre sistemavano, una veloce occhiata se per caso era stato messo dietro il bancone, ho insistito per lasciare il miocellulare e alla fine l'ho potuto scrivere su una bustina di carta sgualcita e ritiratami in fretta. Non so a questo punto se è ancora tra i loro appunti. Sicuramente il mio portafoglio avrà preso il volo e chissà dove sarà. E sicuramente nin possono e non potevanofarci nulla .Peccato davvero però perché la cortesia e l'ascolto credo siano valori da non mettere mai da parte. Lovely breakfast before the morning flight. The cafe is very close to the airport and has a nice sitting area outside. The staff was very efficient even so there were many people and barista looked like he had at least four arms. Most of the people seemed to be locals, so they know the best places in town. Pastries were very good and the choice was exciting. There were some savories too. Prices are very reasonable: it was just about €11 for 3 coffee, 3 brioche, bambolone...
