Enjoyed the food, and the pricing was fair in my opinion.

Some cons though, we asked for still water and were given what was clearly flat sparking water. Service it’s self felt a bit weird, the girl who served us seemed very uninterested in serving us. Opened the wine and slammed it on the table as if we were naughty children getting a telling off then ran away. Didn’t offer for someone to taste it. I personally felt like we were given bad service for being tourists since all the other tables who were clearly locals were dealt with straight away while we waited and waited. The whole experience just felt a bit standoffish which was a shame because it seemed like it had potential to be really good.

Maybe we had them on a bad day but it’s a shame...

We stopped in here for lunch after spending the morning at the archaeological zone. We were dressed more casually than we normally would have been but we figured since they are just a five minute walk from the ruins this should not be a big deal and they likely get tourists all the time. It is recommended for the archaeological zone to wear sneakers and light clothing as you would for a hike. We were treated so rudely from start to finish. An Italian couple arrived about halfway through our meal and they were treated so differently it was like night and day. The restaurant was also extremely hot - no AC or fans whatsoever. This was our last night in Italy, so we had our final Italian meal.

We could not have chosen a better restaurant. Set on a street in Pompeii teeming with eateries and bars. Atmosphere was great.

I love the way in Italy you always get a plate of bread to start. We shared a great cheese board (with honey) and a meat board. Superb.

Sorry, I was boring and had pizza. But what a pizza, well cooked and extremely tasty. Colleagues had salads, and the other two had pizzas as well.

Finished off with a dessert.

Drank plenty, took our time and never felt hurried.

When we left, 22:30, people were still arriving.
