Ristorante Pizzeria Bar da Mario — Restaurant in Porto Azzurro

The food was brought out super fast and was disgusting. I just ordered the grilled prawns and they were clearly half raw and not properly defrosted! I do not come to the seaside for frozen seafood. The heads of the prawns were this weird black colour. My hands still smell so bad that i had to wash them twice. I feel sick. And i have eaten prawns all over the Mediterranean and adriatic. Also: the grilled vegetables were so bad that my vegetarian husband refused to eat them. We ate there twice. The first time the pasta was alright but nothing special and the second time it was just horrible. Pre heated sauce and overcooked pasta. I could forgive the food if the owner was not so rude towards us. We asked a question about one item on the receipt and he got upset when we genuinely wanted to know which item it was. He was also rolling eyes if you went to pay by card. The waitresses are all nice but not the best option to eat in our opinion. The picture is from the first time we ate there. Siamo stati in questo ristorante con un gruppo di amici e, inizialmente, l’esperienza è stata molto positiva: piatti ben preparati, ingredienti di qualità e servizio al tavolo gentile. La serata prometteva davvero bene e ci eravamo trovati d’accordo nel dare una valutazione alta, intorno al 4.5.

Purtroppo, al momento del pagamento, la situazione è cambiata drasticamente. Abbiamo chiesto, in modo educato, di poter dividere il conto in cinque, ciascuno in base a ciò che aveva effettivamente ordinato. La persona al bancone ha reagito con evidente fastidio, sbuffando e facendo gesti di stizza verso gli altri clienti in attesa, come a voler dire che stessimo creando un disagio.

Ci siamo sentiti messi in imbarazzo, come se avessimo chiesto qualcosa di assurdo o fuori luogo, quando in realtà si trattava di una richiesta piuttosto comune, soprattutto in un locale frequentato da gruppi.

Questa mancanza di professionalità e cortesia ha purtroppo rovinato l’esperienza, lasciandoci con un ricordo amaro nonostante la qualità del cibo.

Peccato, perché il ristorante ha sicuramente delle potenzialità, ma l’accoglienza, specialmente nei momenti finali è una parte fondamentale del servizio e può fare davvero...
