Cala Brigantina — Restaurant in Pozzallo

Worst food during our trip in Italy. Most food photos in the maps listing are from neighboring restaurants. Don't be fooled. Go next door for anything other than drinks and aperitif.

The tuna fillet salade was iceberg lettuce, tomato, union and canned tuna. The angus burger low quality meat without a sandwich or salad, and then union rings were cooked too long in very old oil. The only thing of acceptable quality were the frech fries, which are cheaper anywhere else. English with the employees was passable at best.

Very nice place, and the food was very good. Be aware when ordering meat, like veal, you only get the meat, not a dish, no sauce, no garnishment, just meat. But it's like that in most italian restaurants, so I'm not going to deduct any stars for that, but for all foreigners, this is nice to know. Server was very nice but the pinza was horrible (very dense and dry had an almost biscuit like texture), also try and find the porchetta 🥲, asked for another but was the same. They still charged us and an additional 5 euro tips where taken without the hostess...
