You cannot get any better than the chef/owner greeting you by name. We had a party of four that enjoyed a 6 course carne meal served with their house red. We were seated with a wonderful glass of semi sweet wine. And I do mean semi sweet not Americanized sugary sweet wine, Fiorelli was perfectly sweetened. Every dish was an instant oasis to a place of unbelievable flavor. Each dish was cooked to perfection and the number one ingredient of love, was far from being over powering. Per rompere la monotonia della settimana, abbiamo deciso di goderci una bella e rilassante cenetta e quale luogo più indicato di questo splendido locale!?!La curiosità mi è sorta consultando proprio Trip., c’era anche la possibilità di prenotare online e via!!! La scelta è stata fatta. Raggiungere il locale è stato tutto sommato semplice, soprattutto se si conosce bene Pozzuoli. Vedendolo dall’esterno, non percepisce nessuna sensazione particolare, se non per il misticismo che trasmette il suo nome.Le cose cambiano non appena varchi l’ingresso, percepisci subito che il contesto che stai per vedere sarà molto particolare, questo perché entrando c’è una saletta dove vengono accolti i clienti, la cosa carina che oltre al maitre, sei accolto anche dallo chef, nonché proprietario del locale. Subito dopo sei accompagnato giù per una rampa di scale e già scendendo, inizi a percepire che l’ambiente che ti si sta per presentare davanti sarà veramente unico!!! Ovviamente, inutile dire che le aspettative sono rispettate tutte!!! In sostanza il locale non è altro che una bellissima Domus romana unica nel suo genere!!! Si sviluppa in più ambienti, tutti arredati in maniera unica!!! Ci sono tanti lumi e luci soffuse che rendono ancora più suggestivo tutto all’ambiente. I tavoli complessivamente non sono pochi, considerando la grandezza degli ambienti e come sono divisi, c’è privacy, così tutti possono godersi una bella serata romantica. Oltre alla bellezza dell’ambiente, c’è la bontà delle pietanze proposte. Cominciamo con esaltare il gustosissimo prosecco offerto come benvenuto, in fragolino bianco eccellente!!! Che si è sposato bene con i nostri antipasti. Il menù nel complesso è bello ricco di pietanze,sia di mare che di terra, anche se noi abbiamo preferito due menù degustazione, uno mare e l’altro terra, così da dare libero sfogo alla creatività dello chef che ci ha ripagato ampiamente con delle portate uniche!!! Sia per la loro presentazione al tavolo, sia per il gusto complessivo. Tutto veramente buonissimo!!! Honestly, I've never tasted food like this in Italy, the chef is amazing. This is by far the best restaurant in Pozzuoli, and one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. My friend and I ordered the menu carne and a bottle of wine, and everything was fantastic. The wine, the three course meal, the dessert, and the service. We spent about 100 euro, and two people could eat for much cheaper if you wanted, but you really do get what you pay for here in the best possible way.
