Filetto — Restaurant in Pratovecchio Stia

Called in here today for lunch about 1pm. It was very busy so we wete requested to return at 2pm for a reservation. We did exactly that and despite my speaking to two different members of staff we were pretty much ignore. We waited in chairs outside and I asked if I could buy a drink whilst we waited but was firmly told "no" At 2.15pm having had no communication from staff despite people starting to leave and tables obviously becoming free we left very frustrated and disappointed. I am sure all the positive reviews are justified but it is just plain rude to disregard your cus toners...

La quinta stella mancante non è certo per la qualità del cibo, assolutamente squisito,sia per qualità che per maestria di come è stato cucinato. Sotto questo aspetto cinque stelle superiore. Siamo stati ieri a pranzo, soddisfattissimi anche per il prezzo onesto pagato in relazione a quello che ci è stato servito. Le signore gentilissime. Forti di questa piacevole esperienza, essendo ancora lì in zona, oggi abbiamo voluto replicare. Il locale sicuramente più pieno di ieri, ma già molti avventori all'esterno del locale erano ormai arrivati al caffè e a breve si sarebbero alzati, e comunque molti tavoli dentro erano ancora liberi. Abbiamo chiesto ben tre volte se potevamo fermarci a pranzo e siamo stati praticamente ignorati, l'unica risposta estorta a fatica, in maniera frettolosissima correndo senza neanche guardarci, è stata al momento non è possibile, provate a mettervi lì in fondo , vediamo...(?) . Bastava dire no, si, c'è da aspettare, tornate fra mezz'ora o qualsiasi altra cosa. Io ho rispetto per chi lavora. Capisco che sono solo due signore che devono provvedere a tutto, cucinare, servire i tavoli ecc. e quindi essendo sotto pressione un po' di ansia e nervosismo ci sta. Però sentendoci completamente abbandonati e non sapendo se e quando si poteva mangiare ce ne siamo andati, ho visto che ci hanno seguito a ruota altre coppie.. ..forse un altro aiuto in sala darebbe sollievo a tutti. Peccato. Se vi capita e c'è posto fermatevi però,si...

Rude and disrespectful staff. Difficult to make a reservation – it’s better to book by phone. They only let in recommended or local customers… who knows what they’re trying to hide. The food was mediocre. You’d expect more from a restaurant with such a worn-out look. The quality of the food makes the whole setting feel old...
