It was an extremely expensive but average experience. We paid more than 270€ for 3 people. The pasta arragosta was over-salted and cost 80€. The catch of the day 70€ This shocked us a bit. I am an experienced Italy traveller. I should have double checked before ordering but I was excited to have found a good rated place as our first stay on a Sunday evening in this city. We told the waitress that the pasta was over-salted. I mean it's too much salt guys. She said ok or she didn't understand us. All three of us said it to her but they didn't really carez I guess it could have been a language issue. When you pay that much for a pasta dish and you charge us 80€ for it, then at least please don't over-salt it. The catch of the day was ok but too expensive too. The e side dishes were cold. We weren't satisfied and shocked by the prices of the two dishes. Please double check it before you order. We didn't pay attention and we were shocked. Not really typical for Italy, especially not in this quality and with this preparation for the arragosta spaghetti for 80€. The spaghetti was simply toooo heavy on the salt. It was the pasta itself. Maybe they accidentally dropped a salt bomb in the pot while cooking. I really would have liked to rate it higher but I really can't. Not for this price guys. I never paid that much for an average...

Francesco served us an exquisite, almost daily, personalized breakfast tailored to our preferences. Whether it was a fantastic quiche, scrambled eggs, the perfect soft-boiled egg, bruschetta, alternating Pecorino, tarts, croissants, chocolate pastries... there was always something special. Through his kindness and attentiveness, we always felt comfortable and satisfied. He also gave us a great tip for Florence.
Naturally we wanted to try his restaurant for the evening. We were not disappointed. Francesco was just as creative here, cooking fantastic dishes for us. The fish tartare and squid noodles with lobster were exceptional! It was a great fine dining experience. His selection of wines was impressive.
