We had the pleasure of experiencing the tasting menu at Kayma Lounge Bar & Restaurant of hotel Via Roma 33, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The restaurant run by Michelin star awarded chef Erez Ohayon which was the reason for our visit.
From the moment we entered, we were struck by the attention to detail and elegance of the restaurant. The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion, with stunning decor and ambient lighting.
But the real star of the show was the food. Each dish was a work of art, perfectly presented and bursting with flavor. The tasting menu was an exciting journey through a variety of textures and tastes, each more impressive than the last. Every detail was executed to perfection, from the seasoning to the plating.
The sommelier also deserves a special mention, as the wines chosen to pair with the meal were outstanding. We were introduced to some new wines that we never would have discovered on our own.

From when we got welcomed in this newly beautifully renovated hotel to when we left. To start the bartender put together three different cocktails for each of us just following our directions. Erez, the head chef, came out to meet us and gave us a description of the menu and the experience that was going to come. He started with some fantastic bread sticks cover with celeriac pure and powdered herbs from the forest around the town. From then on everything was magic. The mossy plate that was served as amouse bouche was pact with flavors. Same for the wafer with trout belly mousse and the celeriac dish. The tagliatelle dish with fir needle powder gave us the feeling of walking through a winter forest. The lamb that follow together with the trout fillet were sublime. Everything was perfect, from start to finish. Same as for the service, the courses description by the chefs and the floor staff. On top of that, the sommelier and Maître did a superbe job in matching every dish with unbelievably amazing wine for our wine pairing. Never been a problem to enter with our son, now they 'changed the policy'. The restaurant was empty. I wonder which client my baby could have ennoyed if we were the only ones. Very disappointed. We were very happy to try this new restaurant. But now they can be sure that we will never come back. I really not recommend...
