Bar Gm — Restaurant in Procida

So glad I found this place on my visit to Procida! It was the only place open both in the early morning and at night, so no matter what ferry I had to take or whatever delays occurred I almost always found it open. A real life-saver, coming in clutch with coffee at all hours. There were staff members who spoke English (one spoke French too!) and they were knowledgeable about the island and the ferry schedule. They were also very kind.

The atmosphere is laid back and fun; I noticed there were always locals about, from taxi drivers in the morning to younger folks at night. Bar GM even hosted a dance party on a boat one night while I was there.

The food was light and tasty, perfect for when you're on the go. No gimmicks, the menu was clearly designed by locals, and reflects local sensibilities.

I'd recommend Bar GM to anyone...

Loved the insalata di limone di Procida! It is the BEST salad I have ever had. I can't believe how something so simple could be so DELICIOUS... I will always remember the rich flavour of olive oil, the sweet and chunky pieces of Procida lemons, with garlic and mint served in a large marble mortar .. accompanied by fresh homestyle bread... words cannot convey how much I enjoyed this salad.. You must have when you visit this beautiful Island. Excellent Service and great place to eat and have a drink ! It’s located directly in front of the ferry port so the location is amazing with beautiful views of the sea ! Their cold/iced coffee is a must try !! they also made me the best Aperol spritz in all of Italy ! I would recommend this place to anyone...
