Il Gazebo — Restaurant in Procida

What an incredible surprise! This little spot might look super modest from the outside, but the food is on a whole different level — absolutely delicious from start to finish. The service was amazing too; it’s clear the two owners pour their whole heart into every dish and every guest. We got compliments from the chef, a lovely digestivo after dinner, and the kind of attentive service that makes you feel special. Honestly, the location doesn’t match the high level of what they’re serving, but I’m sure this is just the beginning for them — these guys are going places! Enjoy their food before they get their Michelin stars and the place will be impossible...

Un si e un no allo stesso tempo...abbiamo preso per cominciare sia una frittura all'italiana che una gourmet, quella all'italiana era buona,nulla di eccezionale ma gradevole e ben fatta,nonostante un' impanatura molto spessa...quella gourmet abbastanza deludente ,arancino agli agrumi non proprio azzeccato,fiore di zucca così così ,mozzarella in carrozza banale ...non so veramente cosa ci sia di gourmet in questa frittura. Abbiamo poi presi due secondi,una terrina di manzo con funghi e patate al forno ....la carne con i funghi veramente buona e abbondante,un sapore molto deciso...peccato che le patate al forno messe come accompagnamento erano delle patate prefritte al rosmarino della mccain ...totalmente inadatte vicino ad un piatto così " rustico " , sbucciare due patate non richiede così tanta fatica poi. Discorso diverso per l' altro secondo ,seppie e carciofi su crema di patate,era una semplice vellutata di patate ,delle seppie forse un vago sentore ma con molta immaginazione ...fare uscire dalla stessa cucina un secondo piatto così corposo e abbondante ed uno così misero è un po' una contraddizione. Nota dolente i dolci ,un babà molto dozzinale venduto a 7 euro e una panna cotta con un topping da barattolo hanno abbassato la valutazione e fatto lievitare il conto fino a renderlo quasi caro per quanto mangiato . In sostanza buon rapporto qualità prezzo fino ai secondi ,quei 20 euro abbondanti aggiunti per due dolci mediocri e due digestivi ce li saremmo...

My favorite place I tried in Procida. Very chill and laid back, but the food was amazing and had a certain elegance to it. I enjoyed 4 courses. Sometimes on my travels I get tired of eating out at restaurants, but the quality of the food tasted like I was eating in someone’s home so I really appreciate that. Also the server was very simpatico in helping me understand some things...
