Lobina's Ristorante — Restaurant in Pula

If you want " fast food " go to McDonald's.........BUT...If you want proper , delicious, Italian cooking, then get yourself round to Lobina's Ristorante in Pula as soon as you can !!

Just had a fabulous meal at Lobina's . Set in a lovely outdoor terrace sitting, back from the road ( separated by a garden space ),you are made to feel extremely welcome in this family run establishment as soon as you walk in. The restaurant itself as a lovely relaxed atmosphere about it and nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff, Marco, Jessica, and Malica, who were all interested, knowledgeable, and only to happy to talk to you about the menu and wines if you ask . We took advice on the local wines from Marco, and enjoyed a very enjoyable Sardinian white, which was also well priced.

Chef and owner Andrea, along with wife Carolina proceeded to serve up a delicious three courses, hard to choose between the monk fish with saffron sauce or the tiramisu as star of the show. Coffee and Monticello rounded off a fabulous dining experience.

Very disappointed with our meal. Staff have no knowledge on what is on the menu and wine. We ordered swordfish and tuna carpaccio but on the plate there was only swordfish, we had to ask about the tuna to be told let me check with the kitchen and the answer was we dont have tuna, it would have been nice to be told beforehand. It was very dry! For our main course the waitress forgot to write it down so we had to wait another 30 minutes for it and it was not a memorable fregola. As for the wine, the waitress didnt know any wine on the wine lost so could not get an advice on which one to choose from. It s a tourist trap, very expensive for...

Best restaurant in town! Andrea is a fine host and has great recommends for both food and wine. Everything is cooked to perfection by his wife and brother. We have been several times over last 2 years and never disappointed. Lobster tagliatelle, sea urchin tagliatelli, sea bass, muscles, all fabulous. You can get prosciutto and melon anywhere but not as good as this. Generous portions too. Finish off with a mirto or strega, (limoncello is for wimps) Ask about his home made desert...
