A wonderful experience and a very sophisticated evening at Porcino restaurant. We chose the Autumn menu and surrendered to the magic of this new place, where we felt truly welcomed thanks to the lovely staff, especially Enrico, who described each dish with such care and passion. One delightful delicacy after another appeared before us, and we had plenty of time to savor them all. An abundance of flavors and surprises. Just when we thought the dinning experiance was over, new treats arrived, demanding our attention. There were so many tastes and sensations that we jealously had to take the last sweets with us, so we could enjoy them again the next day. Among the amouse Bouche, the play on poached egg w truffle was great.. fellow diners had the lobster and wagyu which were stellar but the venison for me was the standout as it really spoke to the region. Really liked the fact that they made a small soup from the venison.. rich and concentrated. As a wine geek, the list here is incredible and great value for money.. even outside the region I saw a burgundy Chablis Droin 1er cru at 88 euro which is unheard of at this level...
