Enea Club Ristorante – Cucina Romana e italiana — Restaurant in Reggio Calabria

I cannot speak to the service or ambience as we got delivery, but the food was not good. Definitely not up to the standard we have become accustomed to in Italy. The gorgonzola gnocchi was ok, but surprisingly bland. We also tried the pasta with salted ricotta which is supposedly a regional dish, however it tasted like nothing but salt. The meatballs at least had a good flavor, but they had a lot of gristle and overall didn't seem to be good quality meat. Really disappointed as we were excited to try a new restaurant, but I would not recommend this place and I will not be going again. The service was great! Very kind and patient. They greet us with some Prosecco, which was delicious. The food was delicious, we left very satisfied, even if some comments say that is a small portion, is a menu design to eat antipasto, primo piatto e secondo, so it makes all the sense that they don’t serve a kg of pasta… our vacation is over but if we come back to Reggio we will go...
