Da Vinci Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rimini

I hope the restaurant manager sees this review, as it refers to the overall service quality.

We visited Da Vinci on the 14th of August at around 22:30. In short, the waiters cannot handle a large number of guests and they respond rudely to complaints. Regarding the food, we ordered a steak cooked medium, but it was unevenly cooked and closer to rare in the middle. We didn’t even finish our meal as the entire experience was ruined by the waiters' attitude.

Now, for a more detailed review/complaint: The waiters repeatedly forgot to bring items. First, it was a fork, which was a minor issue, but then they forgot the side dish we ordered with the steak. We reminded them several times, and by the time we asked again, the steak was already half eaten. When we asked again with a less patient tone, the waiter (middle-aged with short hair) responded (I quote): "You are on vacation, right? Relax!" When I pointed out that the restaurant was ruining our vacation, he replied, "One spoiled dinner cannot ruin the whole vacation." This was an absolutely appalling way to handle customer dissatisfaction. When we called another waiter (with a pony tail) to discuss the situation, he showed with his whole facial expression that we were guilty in this situation for some reason.  When we mentioned the steak’s doneness, the waiter insisted it was medium, and when we pointed out the uneven cooking, he claimed it was intentional. The quality of the meat was also not good: some parts were mostly fat, and others were difficult to chew. In general, I strongly do NOT recommend this place: it is overcrowded, the service is poor, the attitude towards customers is unacceptable, and the food quality ranges from medium to poor.

P.S.: the English menu is not translated correctly. I received deep-fried fish instead of the "fried"...

I'm sorry to say that it was one of the worst pizza I have in my life. It reminds me of night pizza that you can order in Poland and trust me - it's not what you order unless you're really drunk and hungry.

The dough was dry and with no taste, I think that it also missed salt. If not the prosciutto that was on the top it would have literally no taste.

The only plus is that staff was really nice and they give a nice ammount of Asti in the single glass, as well as there was really a lot of prosciutto on top.

I'm dissapointed because the day before I was going by and I saw pizzas that looked really good - that's why I've choosen this place...

Servers were not nice and not helpful at all, food was mid as my friends said but my pizza was nice. There is an automatic charge of 3 eur per person and it is not written anywhere. And on top of that we wanted to leave a tip of 5 eur (our bill was 105) and later when I checked they charged us 115. I was clear that I wanted to leave 5 eur, when we paid (by card). Didn’t leave us itemised bill( immediately took it away). Overal would NOT recommend. It was loud and uncomfortable just being there.
