Osteria E... Pataca — Restaurant in Rimini

We went here for dinner and sat outside. The pillows were quite dirty which really need a good wash. Our waiter was very nice and spoke English well. However, he got less and less attentive over the evening but the whole staff seemed quite stressed once the restaurant was full (on a Monday). We ordered Lobster pasta, Caprese Salad as Antipasti and Lasagna. The Caprese salad was brought at the same time as the main dishes which we did not want. We had to wait for a long time for our food. The lobster was good. But the Spaghetti was quite dry and it was missing a picante sauce. We also had a dessert: sorbetto al limone. Ut came frozen and did not have the expected consistency (soft, cold but not frozen due to Wodka).

Overall, the food was alright. The location is fine. If you sit in the "garden" you're right next to the road so it can get a bit louder. Staff was friendly but still needs a lot of training. Ordering took 10min because he had to navigate on the electronic device. Maybe a clearer...

The food is good, but more expensive compared with other restaurants in Rimini. Also, the coperto is higher than other restaurants (3 eur/person compared to 1.5/2 at other central restaurants)

The service was not very good. My husband ordered a dish which had a specific side in the menu, but asked if he could have that side changed with another. They said it's OK to replace, so they brought only the side he requested, but they billed for both. They could have said that they can't replace and the side he wanted would be extra. If you bill us for both, bring them both! We should have on the table everything we are paying for! It's our decision to eat it or not.

Also, I wanted some extra parmesan on my pasta and they said they will bring it, but it never came.

In addition, the drinks were not in the menu, they just asked what we want, like we would know their bar menu by heart. And the prices for them were a...

Nice atmosphere but terrible (lack of) service and bad tasting fish.

Started well with a fast nice table without reservation but then we had to wait 30 minutes to be able to order. The waiter was not interested in explaining what kind of fish there was but instead he wanted to leave and come back later when we started to ask one or two questions.

After we finally were able to order, I did not get my beer and instead he came back after 10 minutes and asked if there was only one beer. Then the beer came...

When we got the fish they forgot one side dish but we didn't mention it since we were already disapointed.

The fish tasted terrible, the 'fritto paranza' the worst but the orata vesuviana was also not very good. Now like 1h later we have stomach ache...

Don't get fooled by the athmosphere, there are so many better restaurants in Rimini. We will...
