Ristorante Pizzeria Altamarea — Restaurant in Rimini

I returned back in 2025. I ordered fish again, however one of the fish, coda di rospo , was raw in most places, inedible. I returned it back to the kitchen, first time in my life I have had to do this! Instead of a fesh fish coming back, they returned the same fish, obviously microwaved, it was completely inedible, a mess and like rubber. I again sent it back saying it was inedible. The staff in my area, were just as poor as last year, actuallyworse!. No replacement fish, no explanation, no apology?? I ordered dessert, waiting over half an hour, no dessert, staff not bothered to ask if I needed anything. I had to catch another waiter, by then restaurant was not that busy, I was not the only customer trying to catch staff attention, I noticed this all the time I was there. No apology that my desert order had been ignored. Final straw, I was charged for the fish I sent back, the waiter said he said he could not take anythong off the bill because I had eaten it, seriously the fish came back an inedible mess. Eventually €5 was taken off my bill. Awfiul lunch experience, last day in Rimini this year ruined by, such poor service! I won't be returning. And telling all my clients who rent my apartment to avoid this place.

2024 The food was excellent. The staff were good and pleasant, however, it was impossible to catch the eye of staff if you needed something and they didn't randomly ask if we wanted anything, like dessert menu, or more drinks, or coffee. Could have spent more had the staff been...

We spent three days dining at this restaurant, and almost everything was excellent, nearly perfect. Each time we had a special request, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. However, our experience on the last evening was marred by an unpleasant situation.

We ordered a portion of spaghetti carbonara but asked if it could be made with penne instead, as our young daughters find it difficult to eat spaghetti. Unfortunately, the waitress who served us, a young lady wearing a red scarf around her neck, responded in an unexpectedly dismissive and unprofessional manner. She remarked, in a somewhat mocking tone, that there were "too many special requests tonight" and that it couldn't be done.

This attitude left a bad taste and overshadowed what had otherwise been a very enjoyable experience. I hope this review reaches the management, and that appropriate action is taken to address this behavior. It's a shame that such an interaction tarnished an experience that had been extremely positive up...

So firstly we had takeaway pizza here and it was beautiful! however, we went back the next day for a sit-in meal. we had a shared platter to start, and it was nice, nothing special, then my partner ordered tagliatelle ragu and enjoyed it. I ordered the lasagne ragu and it arrived cold I discreetly sent it back to be reheated and it came back still cold. The waitress was so embarrassed and was extreamly apologetic. However we read that this is not the first time this has happened from the reviews and it angered me that in Italy my lasagne was worse than at home in Scotland. very sad, unfortunately we will not be eating in this restaurant again and would not recommend either. Italy is filled with much better food than this place, and frankly, the chef should be extremely embarrassed and ashamed...
