Ristorante Pizzeria Auriga — Restaurant in Rimini

After a boring and horrible trip from Marrakech to Rome, I had decided to cancel my hotel reservation and return directly to the Netherlands. But when I experienced this amazing pizza in this restaurant, I decided to stay here for 4 days. Much more than a pizza, the best pizza I have ever had. The staff does not speak English, it’s strangely for the touristic town. It is also strange that the waitress began to ask where we are from a rather rude tone, annoyed that we do not understand Italian. We ordered risotto with seafood and salad, but the salad was not served, so it was a surprise for us when we saw it in the bill. No apologies or compliments were received from the restaurant. Esperienza non positiva.

Primo tentativo di accedere al ristorante (su segnalazione dell'albergo): Andateci, vi riserveranno anche uno sconto in quanto nostri clienti. C'è bisogno di prenotare? No. Arriviamo al ristorante sul presto (tavoli tutti vuoti) Un addetto ci manda via dicendo che è tutto prenotato, senza nemmeno proporre un orario alternativo. Okay sono un brodo io. Secondo tentativo. Ripasso 2 giorni dopo: Vorrei prenotare un tavolo per stasera a cena, sul presto, due adulti due bambini. Mi dispiace siamo pieni. (Okay in questo posto forse si mangia bene è sempre pieno, me ne farò una ragione) La sera ripasso sul presto ed i tavoli erano vuoti (passo due volte davanti visto che avevo prenotato un asporto in un altro locale). Do la soluzione: non vi piace occupare 4 sedie con due adulti e due bambini. Mangiano poco e ci mettono tanto. Giusto per info il secondo mangia più di me: primo, secondo, contorno, frutta e dolce.

Sicuramente sarà un disguido, sicuramente si mangerà bene e sicuramente la qualità sarà buona. Sicuramente ho avuto la sfiga di trovare due persone che mi hanno rimbalzato, tanto per dirla tranquilla.

Magari forse il personale meriterebbe di fare un corso sulla cordialità, l’accoglienza e sul problem solving. Così magari la prossima volta mi fermo, prenoto per un’altro giorno e magari vi lascio cinque stelle e la mancia….”forse,...
