Smeraldo Restaurant Pizzeria Rimini — Restaurant in Rimini

We went to this place on our first day and and ordered pizza and pasta. Pasta was nothing special but edible but our son really loved the pizza. Service was also fine.

The very next day our son insisted we go again so we did. Pizza was again fine but Carbonara spaghetti were disgusting, I managed only one bite. I think the sauce was even rancid. I left the hole meal and none of the staff asked what is wrong with it. We asked to pack half pizza our son didnt finish (the guy took it to pack) and asked for the bill. They brought the bill saying we can only pay cash - this is something you say before people order! Previous day we paid by card.

We paid and left and in less than 5min we recalled that they didnt bring us the half pizza and went there to get it only to be told that they threw it in the garbage?!

I would NOT recommend the place. Pasta was disgusting, they obviously knew it when serving, thus werent asking if the food was fine. Pizza was tasty but the service today was just awful - i would not...

Our overall experience was fine, the pizza was good, but I was very surprised (in a bad way) by piadina crudo, which only had prosciutto crudo in it, no cheese, no vegetables, no sauce. It is super dry that way, hard to enjoy unless you order something to wash it down with. Of course, maybe I'm missing something and it's a traditional recipie, but based what I see from Google search results, people serve it with something on top of prosciutto. And the worst thing is that I was confused by the pictures in the menu, showing piadina with lots of veggies. I got zero veggies. I wouldn't order...

First time we came to Italy and we wanted to try real Italian pizza. So we searched where we can to eat and we found this place. And OMG this place was amazing! Workers in here was so friendly and with big smile! What can i say, I love pizza, it was so delicious and perfect for my taste. After pizza we ordered tiramisu dessert, even dessert was so different from other places! I'am happy that we found this place, one day we will come back, thank you guys...
