Leandro Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Riva Ligure

The food Was quite good but sadly the staff is surprisingly incompetent. They had whiskey on the menu and instead of serving it as they should, 2 Oz and some water on the side in a rock or glencaire glass, they instead served about an ounce or less of whiskey in a candle glass, without water of course, ,that didn't bother me enough since I mainly came for the food and wouldn't have felt the need to review the restaurant if the staff wouldn't have been so lost and confused the entire time. My order seemed easy, melon with prosciutto crudo and tagliatte di carne piemontese (excuse me if I misspelled) the meat dish would have been 6 euro for each piece. The waiter came we ordered and the melon arrived but the meat did not. We reordered the meat during the meal and they brought us a steak which I assumed to be what I ordered since I am not familiar with tagliatte di carne piemontese but alas it was not. It was a steak fiorentine which costs 22 euro, not at all what I ordered. The staff then explained during payment, that they only serve my order by a minimum order of 3 pieces, which they could have told me after or during the order instead of assuming I wanted something else. It all would have been fine if the owner hadn't screamed at me for a mistake the staff made. I had enough I did not deserve to be screamed at, since I hadn't raised my voice once during the whole ordeal. I payed the massively inflated price and felt the need to post the review so that others do not experience the same displeassurable...

Had to wait like 10 mins for waiter. I think there was someone birtday party, it might have some effect on that waiting time.

Waiter doesn't speak english. I ask for bill (just after geting food and drink), he bring me some herb tea :D, I didn't need to pay for it. Maybe he was confused about that I want pay right away?

Worst thing was when I was eating one worker and customer(or also worker?) had kimd of "fight". Nothing physical, but it heard like they going to go for fist fight :D. Some people would have been scared of that. I was only customer outside. Msybe its normal here to have these "fights", but normaly no one see it? Or it might be normal Italian conversation? :D

Food was quite ok, too expensive for my taste (pizza), so...

What terrible service! Bad place. I asked if he has oysters to kick off my adventure and he looked like…. What I cańt explain his energy , just bad then I asked if he knows of a restaurant around here that would have it „COMPUTER SAYS NO „ the dude outright lied to me as it turns out the restaurant right next to them sells oysters and great ones with great service i feel like i coul review the guys nxt door to them ! They are great!!!! Anyway sort it out boys learn to be of service. Will not go there again. But it’s no problem cause literally 5 steps futher and you are at the right place. HND/reviews. Ps.
