Ristorante La Scogliera — Restaurant in Riva Ligure

Chanced upon this delightful beachside restaurant en route to Genova. The food was simple and delicious. The freshest fish and the yummiest ravioli. Our server was friendly and efficient despite being really busy and working the whole terrace single-handedly. Loved our lunch on the Italian Riviera. Mikey the dog found the heat too much and slept almost the whole way through. Had a sea swim and a fresh shower...

È proprio difficile scegliere dal menù de La Scogliera e veder passare i piatti che non si è scelto fa quasi rabbia: si vorrebbe provare tutto perché la proposta (prevalentemente di pesce) fa davvero gola. Porzioni abbondanti ma, soprattutto, materia prima fresca e di qualità cucinata in maniera tanto semplice quanto impeccabile. Antipasti sfiziosi, paste super condite, un fritto davvero delicato ma gustoso, un intero polpo servito alla piastra... Questo è ciò che abbiamo potuto mangiare, prima di concludere con dei dolci fuori dal comune.

Unico neo, forse, i tempi di attesa, ma il ristorante era pieno e il cibo così buono da far dimenticare tutto.
