this was nothing special really. the vibe was somehow just off. the boss was very rude ! my grandma learns italian so many years ago. she doesn't have anyone to speak italian with actively, we're hungarian, of course her pronounciation isn't perfect, but the way the boss treated her was unprofessional, saying he doesn't understand a word, making fun out of her, being impatient. after that, maybe because of this kind of bad first impression, everybody seemed impatient. we didn't felt welcomed. riva ligure is such a beautiful place, there are cool restaurants. I wouldn't recommend this one tho. i liked my aglia oglio pasta, but my family members didn't eat something well sadly. my mom didn't even get what she asked for. (which mistake is totally okay, if you handle it professionally. it doesn't happen that way) at the beginning, when two other guests arrived, they tore one of the three tables out from under us. Of course, two was enough for us. Again, there's no problem with this if you ask in a nicer way. sorry, but this is a no :(

The service was absolutely terrible and the waitresses were extremely rude, especially the girl with pink hair and the one with bangs. They made us wait 20 minutes outside the restaurant EVEN THOUGH we had made a reservation. The tiramisu didn’t have coffee in it, which is one of the main ingredients, and when we asked the waitress “why isn’t any coffee in there?”, she answered sarcastically, telling us “of course there’s coffee in it, it’s one of the main ingredients”. Then she took the wrong order and she got angry when we made her notice. At the end, we ordered six coffees and she brought us seven. Like, are you kidding me? Partiamo da un dato certo: "de gustibus non est disputandum", per cui io posso parlare a mio gusto ma non direi mai a qualcuno: "non andate in quel posto" anzi .. provatelo e giudicate voi! Io ci sono andato con aspettative alte, ho sognato quei ravioli di verdura al Castelmagno per tutto il giorno. Arriviamo in 4, due coppie e poco importa se abbiamo dovuto aspettare più di 20 minuti, al nostro arrivo, per avere un tavolo nonostante la prenotazione: è estate, siamo tantissimi a girare per i locali e non si può basare su questo, una recensione! La prima delusione si è manifestata all'arrivo del mio piatto: mi era stato detto che le porzioni erano generose e invece, forse 10 ravioli sul fondo della padella (simpaticissima come piatto di portata e per consumazione). Poi l'assenza di profumo! Il Castelmagno è un formaggio "deciso", già si fa notare all'olfatto e invece nulla, così assaggio il primo raviolo: unico gusto: l'uovo con cui è stata fatta la pasta. Disillusione, disincanto...delusione! Mi dispiace, davvero molto dare un feedback back così, dove la seconda stella è tutta per i ragazzi che ci hanno servito al tavolo: gentilissimi, simpatici e attenti a tutto!! Complimenti a loro! Potevano essere 3 le stelle se non ci fosse stato un irritante siparietto alla cassa, una volta andati a pagare: un solerte "maestrino dalla penna rossa" che appena intuita l'intenzione di voler dividere il conto a coppie (ovvero a metà) ci faceva notare che " non si fanno conti separati" battendo energicamente una penna sul cartello vicino alla cassa, come se non lo avessimo notato! Tranquillo, lo avevamo notato! Forse tu non hai notato che non stavi parlando con due ragazzini del liceo, arrivati con i loro 20 compagni di classe e pretendendo di farti fare 20 conti diversi!
