La Locanda dei Tre Sassi — Restaurant in Rocca San Giovanni

Worst food I had in Italy. Terrible service. We ordered 3 primo piati and one secondo piato to be eaten together (4 people). They all came at different times but the secondo piato was the worst, we warned the waiter they were all to be eaten together and she forgot / ignored that and they wouldn’t recognize their mistake when we complained. It arrived at least half an hour later. The seafood dishes had no seafood, the clams pasta came with mostly empty shells and the crayfish pasta came with (literally) 2 minuscule crayfish. The fish we ordered was obviously old. Very tiny dishes, we left hungry...

The location is very nice, right by the water. The service though …. 🫠🥱😑 one of the waiter at our third time request for water said “ you could get up and come find me or take it yourself” or when we asked for new silverware he said okay but gave us the task to deliver the wine on another table. We sat down at 1.30pm and got up at 5 pm, no it was not a ceremony of any kind. Slow, slower and slowest can well describe it! We stopped here on our way back to Lake Garda from Puglia. What a treasure find! Everything was stunning, from the location to the food and service. Fish was perfectly cooked and the “Birramusu” amazing! Not overdone or flashy, but relaxed and romantic; a perfect end to our summer vacation. Will be bringing friends from Australis...
