"Falco d'oro" restaurant — Restaurant in Rome

Really wanted to like this place. It was a nice atmosphere and a cute set up. We got a table right away.

However the cacio and pepe was the worst I had in Italy. It was served with the wrong pasta and the flavor was bland and lack luster. I think they assumed we wouldn't notice the pasta. The table next to us was told they had run out of spaghetti only to have us watch them bring spaghetti to another table 30min later. The caprese salad was sad and our orders kept coming in wrong. I heard another table get the wrong order. The white wine I ordered was very disappointing as well.

The pizza had no flavor but a good crust. Utensils were not provided. We tried to flag down the server no luck. We had to chase her after five minutes.

Unfortunately they had run out of what I wanted. No big deal. But they left and I had to spend the next 15min trying to flag them down. My partner finished dinner by the time I was able to order.

It was unfortunate. They need more staff and to refocus on their food. Wish we had not...

We wanted to see the beach near Rome and wanted a place to eat lunch since we came all the way from Salerno. There wasn’t much around but they were open and we popped in - are we glad we did. Their kitchen was closed (which initially we were disappointed about) but the hot plate was still open so we made a nice plate. We made assorted plates with different foods and everything was absolutely delicious! It was a nice change from ordering a plate of one particular dish because we got to try different things and the food was so good! Absolutely Recommend...

We came for lunch at the end of the season(last week of october), we were looking for a table but staff didn’t care. they were just passing around us without any interest or eyecontact. so we picked a free table, set down and after few minutes of ignoring us we had to stop one of waitresses passing by. we ordered 4 dishes, but they forgot one of them, so we had to wait again. food was edible, but it had no flavor. it was relatively cheap but we had an amazing pasta few days before in rome for...
