Truly one of the worst meals I’ve had in years.

The staff were overly stressed and disorganized, bringing antipasti plates to our table we had already been served. They could really benefit from having a staff member who manages so they avoid so much chaos and disruption to the dinner service. Additionally, a revamp of the interior would be beneficial as it is very noisy, with no mood music and white walls that have become very tarnished and dirtied, bringing down the overall aesthetic of the place.

We arrived for the 7:30 seating and only left at 10:45. We waited 30 minutes between the antipasti plates to receive our first steak and one full hour for the second. We watched table after table come and go and were constantly assured our steak was on its way until they admitted they had no idea what steak we had even ordered.

When it finally arrived, it arrived cold. The waiter tried to argue with us about the temperature of the plate which was also tepid, until the cook arrived to admit there was an error.

For all of this disruption and unpleasantries, we were charged full price, just with a bottle of water removed from the bill.

I would avoid this place. It does not live up to its Instagram marketing and ultimately wasted our evening where we had to cancel our following plans. It is very unfortunate as they have a lot of potential with their menu but it was ultimately a huge...

Abbiano prenotato un tavolo da 10( alla fine eravamo in 8) su consiglio di un nostro amico per giovedì 16 novembre,ecco alcune considerazioni: Partiamo dal locale; benché non possiede parcheggio,la facilità per trovarlo vicino o al massimo un paio di minuti a piedi è netta. Arrivando già davanti al locale si possono vedere le decine di forme di carne (frollata e non) nelle immense celle frigorifero poste ai lati della cassa. All'interno l'ambiente risulta quello di una decisa enoteca/ osteria romana con degli scaffali presenti su tutti i lati in cui centinaia di bottiglie di vino di alto livello fanno capolino tra i tavoli. Il servizio risulta amichevole,da classica osteria di città, i proprietari sempre disponibili a consigliarti il tipo di carne da selezionare per il menù fisso . Il ristorante propone quindi 3 diversi menù: 45,70,90€ all you con eat...noi abbiamo scelto quello da 45€ che era composto da : 3 tartare di manzo buonissime, del roastbeef su vellutata di mango, capaccio di manzo su letto di rucola e due antipasti caldi ( polpette al sugo alla romana e polenta con sugo alla genovese). Una volta terminato l'antipasto, siamo passati al piatto principale: la carne frollata. Il menù prevede tante portate di carne fino a che dici basta; ti dirigi in cassa dallo staff e in base alle decine di tagli presenti e/o al consiglio del cuoco stesso ordini tutta la carne che vuoi, dalle fiorentine classiche a quelle frollate 60 giorni, dai filetti ai controfiletti, fino a tagliate o costate di razze particolari( noi abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente su consiglio dello chef , una costata di bufalo da latte che sebbene leggermente stopposa, al palato non aveva uguali). In totale abbiamo provato diverse scelte e diversi tagli anche con gradi minori o maggiori di frollatura, con qualità della carne  decisamente importante( in alcuni casi proprio eccellente); la carne veniva servita con verdure alla griglia e patate al forno e in tutto ciò in questa data specifica,il locale offriva anche il vino gratuitamente ( tra diverse scelte)che spulciando online il valore direttamente calcolato al produttore superava più di 20€ a bottiglia( una bottiglia gratuita in 2) . Considerando acqua e coperto, abbiamo speso 48,5 euro a testa( abbiamo lasciato 50 euro tondi per la mancia ), in un locale normale per quello che abbiamo mangiato e per la qualità di quello che abbiamo mangiato ( e bevuto ) , avremmo dovuto spendere almeno il doppio...non penso che esiste a Roma o comunque nella regione, un locale che propone carne frollata di qualità a prezzo fisso finché dici basta, noi siamo sicuri di non conoscerlo. In ogni caso,se siete amanti della ciccia e vi trovate a Roma, dovete fare tappa in questo posto. 5 stelle meritate....

Italy: Ero a Roma da sola per la prima volta (vengo dalla Germania) e ho chiesto in palestra dove mangiare una buona carne. Un ragazzo mi ha detto subito: “Vai da A CHIANCA!” – e devo dire che è stata una scelta top assoluto. 🤯🔥

Il cibo? 10 su 10, tutto fresco, gustoso, perfetto. E poi Giacomo, lo chef – una persona splendida, super gentile e accogliente. Mi ha servita lui stesso, mi ha spiegato ogni piatto con una passione vera.

Mi sono trovata così bene che due giorni dopo ci sono tornata di nuovo – anche se ero a Roma solo quattro giorni 😂 Avevo in mente di provare altri posti, ma niente, A CHIANCA ha vinto tutto.

E sinceramente? Non avevo proprio in programma di tornare presto a Roma… ma dopo la seconda cena lì, ho parlato un attimo con la mia compagnia e abbiamo deciso che torneremo presto. 🥹❤️ Perché è stato davvero un momento speciale. Giacomo e il suo cibo mi hanno conquistata. Se potessi, darei più di cinque stelle.

Das Essen war eine 15/10. Alles frisch, perfekt gewürzt, unglaublicher Geschmack. Und dann Giacomo – der Koch – ein SO herzlicher, ehrlicher Mensch. Er hat mich persönlich bedient, mir alles erklärt und man hat gemerkt, wie viel Liebe er in jedes Detail steckt.

Ich hab mich da so wohl gefühlt, dass ich zwei Tage später einfach nochmal hingegangen bin – obwohl ich nur vier Tage in Rom war, weil ich meiner Begleitung das Restaurant unbedingt nochmal zeigen wollte. 😂 Eigentlich wollte ich ja verschiedene Foodspots testen.. naja. 😂

Eigentlich hatte ich gar nicht vor, so schnell wieder nach Rom zu kommen… aber nach dem zweiten Besuch hab ich kurz mit meiner Begleitung geredet – und wir kommen ganz bald wieder zurück. 🥹 Einfach, weil’s so ein besonderer Abend war. Was uns aufgefallen ist ist das die Steak die ihr serviert bekommt für 170€ (2personen) aus den Niederlanden stammen was für Steak ungewöhnlich ist. Belasst es bei Pizza und Pasta oder in der Nähe gibt es ein McDonald’s. Da seid mit 5 Cheeseburgern besser dran, und ich mein das zu 100% ernst. Vertraut mir !!! Ich hab nach Pommes gefragt und der Kellner hat gesagt ess einfach so schmeckt besser. Naja des Fleisch hat gestunken und ich musste fast würgen. Naja ich hab gefragt wieso das so ist, und die hübsche Dame die da arbeitet hat gesagt das es 100 Tage gereift war. Das Highlight waren aber die Vorspeisen. Haltet euch fest. Erst gibt’s den sogenannte Fleisch Vulkan, dieser besteht aus 200gramm rohen Hackfleisch mit einer grünen Soße unten darunter. Klingt lecker war’s aber nicht, dannach gab es was außergewöhnliches BUNTE BURGER, wenn man die sieht denkt man gleich an die bekannte Folge von Spongebob. Ich war am Anfang sehr davon überzeugt das diese mir schmecken würden, ich muss leider enttäuschen das war leider nicht der Fall. (2personen170€nochmal als Erinnerung). Lasst die Finger vom Lilalen Burger. Ich liege nachdem Besuch des netten Gastros in meinem Bett und habe Bauchschmerzen und denke über mein Leben nach. Nicht nur mein Magen hat schmerzen meine Brieftasche auch. Mitarbeiter waren aber nett außer der Koch, er hat mir ein wenig Angst gemacht, nach meinem Steak wollte ich gerne Pommes haben und ein kühles Erfrischungsgetränk. Als ich den Koch drauf ansprach ob ich diese vielleicht bekommen könnte, bekam ich die Antwort Ohne Pommes schmeckt besser und Fanta gibt’s nicht, naja ich habe Cola getrunken weil der Koch es mir so empfohlen hat. Als ich den Koch drauf ansprach ob ich diese vielleicht bekommen könnte, bekam ich die Antwort Ohne Pommes schmeckt besser und Fanta gibt’s nicht, naja ich habe Cola getrunken weil der Koch es mir so empfohlen hat.
