We arrived at a famous pizza spot nearby, only to find hordes of people and a totally chaotic system of ordering, so we came here instead, where we served instantly by a really friendly and helpful server. Great big slabs of pizza were chosen and heated up for us, along with some beers, all for the price of €10. In a relatively expensive city like Rome, places like this are a godsend for a quick, delicious and affordable lunch. For a chain, Alice is surprisingly excellent, typically Roman pizza, with a thin, crispy base and simple, delicious toppings. The tomatoes were particularly delicious, you could practically taste the sun in them. I wish we could get pizza like this back...

Alice pizza is a small take away joint with limited sitting but offer a wide variety of tasty pizzas. The selection is huge and the service too is quick. So dont go on the size of the shop. it is definately a must try. We tried their Margarita pizzas and potato pizza; mushroom pizzas. Each had a unique flavour.
