Made a last-minute stop at Apoteca for a drink, and what a delightful surprise it was! Upon perusing the menu, I couldn't resist ordering the "ApotecaBurgerVeg," which came with a homemade bun, eggplant burger, tomato, lettuce, sautéed vegetables, and provolone. It was served with a side of french fries, homemade ketchup, and mayo.

To say I was impressed with its deliciousness would be an understatement – this is easily one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. And don't leave without trying the Tiramisu Apothecary, a traditional delight with mascarpone cream, ladyfingers soaked in coffee, and a dusting of cocoa.

The selection of local beers on tap was excellent, and the staff was attentive. The atmosphere had a great vibe. Exploring local neighborhood spots is always a treat, and Apoteca certainly...

Sono stata a cena con delle amiche in occasione di una visita a Roma, ristorante che ci è stato consigliato da amici, quindi pensavamo di essere andata “sul sicuro”. L’unica certezza e sicurezza è che il titolare è tutto tranne che un titolare. Partiamo dal servizio, dove per ogni necessità prima di essere prese in considerazione, passava parecchio tempo; per altro, abbiamo avvertito una scarsa comunicazione tra i ragazzi in sala, visto che, ci venivano chieste le stesse cose due o più volte. In seguito all’ordinazione, ci viene comunicato che le vongole erano terminate, trovando così una seconda scelta, tra la prima e la seconda portata non c’è stata una minima divisione probabilmente non gli andava di aspettare e hanno deciso di portare praticamente tutto assieme; antipasti accettabili mentre i primi decisamente squilibrati e pasta servita fredda. Arriva il momento del dolce, anzi, ancora prima di terminare il primo piatto un cameriere ci chiede dal nulla se volevamo un tiramisù, probabilmente per lo stesso motivo: dovevano finire in fretta. Comunque ordiniamo un dessert composto da un biscotto con crema di nocciola, e GLASSA AL CIOCCOLATA BIANCO? Una volta arrivato, oltre ad essere veramente triste sia esteticamente sia a livello gustativo, mancava della glassa e dopo averlo fatto presente, ci viene detto che avevano cambiato la presentazione (tutte e tre abbiamo assaggiato il dolce, di minuscole dimensioni, e il resto è stato lasciato) Arriva il momento del conto, mi dirigo in cassa e finalmente mi trovo a parlare con il titolare, gentilmente decide di togliere il dolce dal conto, trattandosi di un errore loro. Passano pochi minuti e quest ultimo esce a controllare al nostro tavolo se realmente avessimo mangiato il dolce, che ribadisco essere stato semplicemente assaggiato, iniziando a contestare quanto accaduto e sostenendo lo avessimo mangiato. È veramente difficile descrivere l’atteggiamento del titolare, arrogante e decisamente poco accogliente. E mi sento di aggiungere che quando abbiamo ordinato il dolce, provenivano schiamazzi e risate dalla cucina, per loro sfortuna a vista, probabilmente perché per loro ormai il servizio era terminato. Ahimè non posso fare altro che sconsigliare...

We had a great experience at Apoteca. Traveling from the States it was fun to get out of the tourist areas and spend time in a local neighborhood. My wife and two sons had the Burgers and all three said they were some of the best they have ever had. That says a lot since we have had a lot of cheeseburgers! I had pasta, board of meats and cheeses, two great honey ales, all fantastic. Alberto and team took great care of us. We had an outdoor seat in the lovely town square. After sunset many locals and kids came out to enjoy the breezy evening after a hot day. My son even kicked the soccer ball around with some kids. Easy taxi home to our apartment!
