Gaia.Bio — Restaurant in Rome

My family and I were staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Rome Central Park and the front desk recommended this restaurant as one of the few within walking distance. We were promptly served. The food at this place was the best that we had during our entire stay in Italy. The employees did not know a good deal of English, being able to order in Italian would be to your benefit or charade skills. But, I would always recommend when traveling abroad, you should at a minimum be able to order in the local tongue!! Prezzi alti prodotti non all' altezza non mi hanno rilasciato ricevuta acqua di rubinetto (microfiltrata) 1 bottiglia + 1 euro 4,50 A completamento visto la sua lunga replica, le faccio notare che alla richiesta del conto, mi è stato portato un foglietto, con l'elenco dei prodotti consumati, e con l'importo preciso,. Io non ho contestato prima, ma solo dopo aver pagato. Generalmente a tavola quando si chiede il conto è lecito chiedere da parte del ristoratore se si ha bisogno di fattura o basta ricevuta, invece mi è stato dato un foglietto ( che conservo) se lei lo volesse vedere, ma sa benissimo di cosa parlo. Non sono arrabbiato nè per l'importo nè per la mancata ricevuta, ma per il fatto che lei si è fatto pagare un bottiglia d'acqua, per lei microfiltrata, per me sempre di rubinetto, che io non le ho ordinato, mentre le ho chiesto di portarmi una bottiglia di acqua, se sul conto lei avesse scritto che l'acqua Lauretana costava 4,50, non glie la avrei contestata, io le ho contestato la bottiglia d'acqua nopn richiesta e non consumata, ma da lei servitami senza essere stata richiesta. We happened to find Gaia Bio one of our first nights in Rome and it ended up being the best discovery of our entire trip.
