Gandhi 3 — Restaurant in Rome

During our 3-day stay in Rome, we consistently ordered takeout from Gandhi 3, and the experience was outstanding each time. From the very first phone call, Ahin was incredibly welcoming and kind. He patiently assured us about the food portions and flavor, and everything we tried lived up to his word—delicious, authentic, and satisfying.

What truly touched us was a special gesture on our last night. We mentioned we had an early morning flight and weren’t sure what to pack for the journey. Without hesitation, Ahin thoughtfully provided us with chicken biryani, and to our surprise, did not charge us for it. It was such a kind and generous act, and it made us feel truly cared for—even far from home.

MUST VISIT PLACE.

It was our friend's birthday and we were craving for Indian food. So after a lot of research we came here.

For starters, we ordered chicken tandoori and garlic chicken tikka. For the main dish, we ordered butter chicken, palak paneer, chicken tikka and kashmiri chicken. Everything is 10/10.

Butter chicken and chicken tikka was the highlight of our order. We loved it.

Also, you can order tawa chapattis, it is nothing in the menu but you can ask for it.

Everyone is very polite. Ashraf took care of our service and he is very friendly.

Il ristorante è molto buono e l’atmosfera molto accogliente e curata. Il cibo è ottimo! Abbiamo mangiato in modo molto soddisfacente. Unica nota: ci siamo sentiti spinti a continuare ad ordinare, e abbiamo infatti ordinato più di quanto potessimo mangiare, ed è un peccato perché volevamo provare i dolci. Durante tutta la cena ci è stato chiesto probabilmente 8-9 volte se volessimo continuare ad ordinare, anche quando non eravamo riusciti a finire il cibo che avevamo già sul tavolo, e ci è stato portato il menu dei dolci nonostante avessimo esplicitamente detto che volevamo una pausa e anche quando abbiamo rimandato indietro il menu siamo stati nuovamente chiesti se volessimo ordinare altro. Poi oggi leggendo le recensioni vedo che altre persone hanno ricevuto dei piccoli dolci di arrivederci, e noi no :( Questo sicuramente da cambiare. Detto ciò, non lascio meno di 5 stelle perché l’atmosfera e il cibo erano veramente, veramente buoni. Ed il prezzo era molto onesto. Il cibo era autentico e l’esperienza pure, dalle salsine all’inizio alle decorazioni in rame. Non si paga il coperto e le Bibite sono a prezzo più che corretto. Ci si può concentrare (con gioia) sul cibo. Direi che 3 piatti e due contorni (pane naan o riso) sono più che sufficienti per 2 persone, e dovrebbero lasciare anche abbastanza spazio per condividere un dessert. E in tutto avrete speso dai 40 ai 50, con bibite incluse. Peccato perché sicuramente uno dei miei ristoranti preferiti (cibo e atmosfera), ma esserci sentiti spinti ad ordinare sempre di più è stato un po’ scortese, e non sono sicuro...
